Is it true that a Catholic person that doesn t believe Catholic Dogmas is excommunicated? Because if it is true , many Catholics are excommunicated and i would be sorry for that.

No.I red that someone on this forum said that a Catholic person who believed that reincarnation is real was commiting a mortal sin and would be excommunicated. Is it true?
No.Then I would be free to believe whatever i want.

Look up the terms: material heresy vs. formal heresy. Are these Catholics that do not believe Catholic Dogmas Heretics? Are they guilty of Heresy?
Could be.If someone does not agree with any particular doctrines of the church, are they a heretic and are they excommunicated?
Obstinate refusal to accept a teaching of the Church which she had judged to have been revealed by God can result in automatic excommunication, yes. There are various criteria which have to first be met, and I’m not a canon lawyer, and neither do I particularly care about minutiae like this. I accept whatever the Church teaches to have been revealed by God, and so I don’t have to worry about this.If someone does not agree with any particular doctrines of the church, are they a heretic and are they excommunicated?

sighSo I’m in no danger just because of what I might believe, or perhaps casually mention in conversation that I believe? This is an issue that has been troubling me and my priest has not given me a straight answer.
That’s between you and your confessor. And what is malice in this context? If I know the church teaches x, but I just do not believe that this teaching is true, where does that leave me?
