I feel that the trials are alsmost too much for me. I’ve been praying and waiting for a good job, or our piece of agricultural land be sold so I could use the money to put up a small business for our living. I feel desperate. What will become of me?

If you have placed this in God’s Hands, then His timing will be just right for what He knows to be right for you. But that does not mean you’ll agree with Him. In my experience with waiting on God, it was not until several years later that I realized His wisdom in making me wait so long…until that realization, I just could not understand and I suffered tremendously as a result. Had I simply trusted in God (and just done everything I could) I think I could have saved myself a great deal of stress.

Put your Faith in God, put your concerns in His Hands, do your part to make things happen to the best of your ability, and be patient for His answer…all the while understanding that His answer may not be the one you want.

Sometimes what we think is a good answer for our situation is completely different that what the Almighty has in mind for us. Be patient. All prayers are answered; best to pray that his will be done for you.

I’ll say a prayer for you. 👍

God’s timing is perfect. But we must remember that it is not OUR timing. It is God’s. If you are going to put your trust in Him, do it all the way. Perhaps you are being led down a different path??? Explore that idea, as well.

And, remember, never stop talking to God. Don’t fall into the trap of “God doesn’t listen to me.” He always listens. And he is perfect.

All these responses to your question are, in my view, excellent, and I hope you see them that way as well.

What I keep forgetting, in my petition prayers, is that God is always NOW. We humans have created time and time is important to us. We live in time. God doesn’t. That’s why the Eucharist instituted by Chirst 2,000 years ago is also happening on our altars today. God is timeless.

When we pray, we can pray for ourselves or our loved ones for situations that happened in the past as well as situations that will happen in the future or right now. It’s all the same to God.

That’s why we talk about prayers being answered “in God’s time.” Our urgency is not urgent for God.

We also know that God often answers our prayers of petition in a way that we do not appreciate at the time. Only later, in hind sight, do we come to understand why our prayer was answered the way it was.

When we are desperate, we want help now and we want a solution to the problem now. That may not happen the way we want it to, but that does not mean God has not heard you or has other plans for you.

You are in a serious dilema and I will add my prayers to yours, asking for a reasonable solution.

God does not live in time. There is no time where God exists. But He is aware of our needs and that we live in a world where time exists. I have found that He knows best in all situations where our needs are concerned. Be patient and believe in Him. He will help you get through all of your suffering. He is constant, true, loving, merciful and you are His child. “What father gives his child an eel if he asks for a fish, or a stone if he asks for bread?” God is your Father; He will never abandon you.

Its about God’s TIme and even though it seems as though things in life arent going your way and you have been praying, just have to trust and God will make things work out=)

Keep in mind that even when looking back in hind sight you may not understand God’s plan. Put your trust in Him. You may have to die before you can understand things.

I’ll say a prayer for you.
