I do have my facts straight, and I think we need a little bit more manners on this thread.Get your facts straight…The Red Mass marks the beginning of the Legal Year. Traditionally, it is around the first two weeks of October. It is when the legal profession–attorneys and judges–pray that they may do their jobs correctly. It isn’t about nor has it ever been about “inspiration for politicians.”

dioceseofmarquette.org/upcarticle.asp?upcID=1206 writes that the Red Mass " is offered to invoke the Holy Spirit, Who is the source of wisdom, understanding, counsel and fortitude." How is that any different from it being a Mass for inspiration? It’s for inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
