Is it wrong to pray to see the blessed virgin on earth?

I think it is beautiful to wish for the Holy, and Mary sure is that. She is gentel and kind. She leads us to her Son. Yes, this is a good thing to wish for.

Whenever I see these little “who is more humbler” exchanges a comedic scene enters my head. It starts as the Apostles are arguing over who is the greatest. Jesus interrupts thier little childish squabble and says that the least is the greatest and the greatest is the least. the apostles take this and learn but we as a society don’t learn. And that is the comedy, now we argue over who is the least because that really means greatest (tee he) we are really fooling God on this one.:rolleyes: Meanwhile the lesson rolls right on by us. I am not picking on anyone here just making conversation. I mean, I do it too sometimes. Actually I do worse than that. Actually I do worse than all of you combined nobody sins more than me…😉

I don’t know but from what I am currently learning about humility I am really starting to embrace it…I don’t think that I am subhuman anymore…I now consider myself “a child of God” and that just makes me feel so wonderful inside. :love:
 
Yeah, lainey, I agree with you. the only thing is one must have a healthy understanding of humility. If one just thinks it is about telling everyone how bad or insignificant you are then that is an infantile understanding of it. Especially if one works with youth or frankly, anyone, we must not be afraid to say. “I am a good person, I do not follow the ways of those who are of this earth and I am above many stumbling blocks because I walk with Christ.” Society needs this, from steroids to drugs to any pop culture being shoved in our faces we need people to say, there is something better to strive for. That is why we have saints as the heroes of our faith, that is why protestants tend not to focus on them, because we belive our works mean something and should be good and we should strive to be the best person we can be.
