RESPONSE:Who sees me sees the Father also.
Jesus is prayed to - Acts 7:55-60; 1 Cor. 1:2 with Psalm 116:4; (John 14:14)
Jesus is worshipped - Matt. 2:2,11; 14:33; John 9:35-38; Heb. 1:6
Jesus cleanses from sin - 1 John 1:9
Jesus forgives sins - Matt. 9:1-7; Luke 5:20; 7:48
#3 and #4. Catholic priests forgive sin too. They’re not divine. They just think they are.
2 Matt 2:2, 11
saying, “Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star 3 at its rising and have come to do him **homage.” **and on entering the house they saw the child with Mary his mother. They prostrated themselves and did him homage. Then they opened their treasures and offered him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
Note: Homage is not worship.
#1 Jesus is not prayed to. He’s only “seen” in a vision.
Acts 7:55-56But he, filled with the holy Spirit, looked up intently to heaven and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing at the right hand of God,
and he said, “Behold, I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”
