But it’s still difficult to work my mind around other thoughts, such as is Jesus the Lord Almighty
Yes He is. We can see from scripture that Jesus is God. Jesus says “I and the Father are one.” (John 10:30) Therefore, any characteristic of the Father is also of Jesus. The Father is the Lord God Almighty and so Jesus is the Lord God Almighty and the Holy Spirit is the Lord God Almighty. The following verse talks of Christ ⬇️

(Revelation 2:9-11) “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Jesus is the Lord God Almighty. He is God in human form. His human flesh does not make Him any less God, any less Lord, or any less Almighty.
or is the Holy Spirit Lord, and other things.
I think this will answer your question about if the Holy Spirit is Lord:

(2 Corinthians 3:17) “Now the Lord is the Spirit , and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

Going by Scripture alone can result in a sort of best-guess theology
Well, you could go on a non-Catholic forum like I do and be amazed, most likely, at the disagreement over important matters that Sola Scriptura adherents often engage in between each other.
I don’t bother… And I’m not Sola Scriptura … Scriptures form part of the foundation of Catholicism…

Thank you so much for your reply, you have no idea how much you have helped me! I’ve been struggling with these questions for so long now, it’s been so confusing trying to find the right answer!

Jesus is Lord Almighty…
The Holy Spirit is Lord …
that’s amazing 😄

I just found out today is St Athanasius feast day, it’s a wonderful day to meditate on the Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ 😄

During my time coming back to the Catholic Church, I read he greatly contributed to the Nicene Creed, particularly the part “God from God, Light from Light, True God from True God, begotten not made, consubstantial with the Father”

He really helped me believe in the Trinity again, though I still have doubts and struggles sometimes.

God bless you and thank you!

There is always the first half of the so called Athanasian creed, not really from Athanasius but a good primer on the Trinity:

Whosoever will be saved, before all things it is necessary that he hold the catholic faith. Which faith unless every one do keep whole and undefiled, without doubt he shall perish everlastingly. And the catholic faith is this: that we worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity; neither confounding the Persons, nor dividing the Essence. For there is one Person of the Father; another of the Son; and another of the Holy Ghost. But the Godhead of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, is all one; the Glory equal, the Majesty coeternal. Such as the Father is; such is the Son; and such is the Holy Ghost. The Father uncreated; the Son uncreated; and the Holy Ghost uncreated. The Father unlimited; the Son unlimited; and the Holy Ghost unlimited. The Father eternal; the Son eternal; and the Holy Ghost eternal. And yet they are not three eternals; but one eternal. As also there are not three uncreated; nor three infinites, but one uncreated; and one infinite. So likewise the Father is Almighty; the Son Almighty; and the Holy Ghost Almighty. And yet they are not three Almighties; but one Almighty. So the Father is God; the Son is God; and the Holy Ghost is God. And yet they are not three Gods; but one God. So likewise the Father is Lord; the Son Lord; and the Holy Ghost Lord. And yet not three Lords; but one Lord. For like as we are compelled by the Christian verity; to acknowledge every Person by himself to be God and Lord; So are we forbidden by the catholic religion; to say, There are three Gods, or three Lords. The Father is made of none; neither created, nor begotten. The Son is of the Father alone; not made, nor created; but begotten. The Holy Ghost is of the Father and of the Son; neither made, nor created, nor begotten; but proceeding. So there is one Father, not three Fathers; one Son, not three Sons; one Holy Ghost, not three Holy Ghosts. And in this Trinity none is before, or after another; none is greater, or less than another. But the whole three Persons are coeternal, and coequal. So that in all things, as aforesaid; the Unity in Trinity, and the Trinity in Unity, is to be worshipped. He therefore that will be saved, let him thus think of the Trinity.
