Is lack of the ability to procreate the sole reason homosexual activity is a sin?

Gay catholic here and it’s interesting to see all these perspectives
Bless you and your journey. I’d only like to hear from people like you. Why?
  1. you know how real homosexuality is
  2. you know how fulfilling God’s love is
You, and others like you, are the one’s we need to hear from. I hope you take joy and courage in the Holy Spirit and keep speaking the truth about God’s awesome love.

Correct. Those who are unbaptized do not participate in sacraments. In the context of a marriage, this means that if a Christian marries an unbaptized person, then their marriage can be valid but not sacramental.
Just to add that if the non Christian becomes baptized the marriage would become sacramental without anything else needing to be done.

I apologize. I did not mean to make you feel unwelcome here or denigrate the value of your contribution to the discussion.

I agree. I also have a friend who is a faithful and devout Catholic and struggles with SSA. It’s their voices that will be listened to, not those of us who don’t understand it subjectively.
