Is Latin still taught at seminary?

It ought to be a reality, as the Canon says.
That is the very definition of an ideal: a reality that ought to be (but isn’t).

There are a lot of things that ought to be. And a lot of things that seminarians out to learn. Reality has a way of prioritizing them.
If they teach a language in seminary, Spanish (in the U S).
Agree. Already, probably half of the regularly attending Catholics in the US are Spanish speakers, and a good number of them have limited English skills. And they are no longer confined to border areas and large cities, but settling in the heartland, as well.
