Your never going to believe I’m sincere or that I’m seeking information (which I know is uncommon at my age) so why don’t you just send me a link to another Catholic forum that is less hostile. I’ve had to deal with these attacks on my sincerity every time I come here and I’m always driven away.

I can’t even respond to your claim that you feel you are “hated”
here. For the past few months while you’ve been posting here, people have been very patient and kind in responding to your questions. In fact, you’ve pretty much received all the significant information regarding the Catholic Church and homosexuality that you could possible need. And these responses have been freely given in the face of comments that you have made like this:

You: I was raised believing in Catholicism, but now I’m atheist

Poster: Why do you care if I believe in God?

*You: I honestly don’t care. *

*Shadow, you have stated over and over that you don’t care what Catholics think. Yet when Catholics question your motive for being here and posting provocative statements, we are accused of being hateful. *

I understand you are young. As I said before (and I know how hateful this is!) I will pray for you and once again, encourage you to talk to your parents about your issues.

Hate? I haven’t seen it on this thread, so I’m not sure who you are referring to. I’ve been honest in my answers. If you are mistaking honest responses and disagreement for hate, then you are going to feel hated your entire life.

I love you as a fellow child of God. Love doesn’t mean accepting everything you do.
