Christians believe that the relationship between God and man was repaired by dying His Son on the cross. Why we are still here and suffering if that is true? Why God doesn’t show up and open His arms for us?

He did show up; and then led disciples and gave them friendship with God; and then gave them his body and blood, shed for the forgiveness of sins, and then died on the cross, and then returned and took back his body, both from the grave and within those who ate his body and drank his blood, so they had him alive with them.
And now today they, with Jesus risen within them, also grant discipleship, grant teaching to know God as your friend, give you his body and blood to eat and drink, and grant forgiveness to you of your sins, and give you the Holy Spirit so you can recognize the things of God.

Not that the relationship between God and man was repaired but that through Jesus Christ our relationship with God will be restored by grace we receive. (Ephesians 2:8) The broken relationship is due to sin and remains broken until we are perfected in Christ through our state of grace.
  • The broken friendship with God is due to sin. (Romans 6:23)
  • Through Jesus Christ our relationship with God is restored. (Ephesians 2:8)
  • The Son of God died for our salvation. (Philippians 2:7-10) “making peace through the blood of His cross” (Colossians 1:20)
  • Mankind is made in God’s image and likeness. (Genesis 1:27)
  • Through the Church, we have access to grace through Baptism and and other sacraments. (Matthew 16:18-19)
  • Through the Holy Spirit received in these sacraments we are perfected and may end in eternal beatitude in heaven. (Matthew 5:48)

We die to ourselves through our Lord Jesus Christ by accepting what we cannot change and offering it to the Lord with the help of His grace. This builds up the Body of Christ on earth.

Our life on earth is very short, no matter how long we live. It is a time the Lord gives us to allow Him to sanctify us through the Church.

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called children of God.
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 5:3-10

It’s not just a matter of making satisfaction for sin. Healing of wounds takes time, as does divinization. If we were cured instantly, perhaps we would not love God as much or develop the character that makes us more like him. Suffering may be part of the cure.

He does, especially in our suffering when He helps us with our suffering by putting His arms around us… Jesus said He will be with us always and He is and so is the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Why we are still here? Why we are not in the garden?

A kid is not responsible for other people fault accepting the fact that the story of Adam and Eve is not a myth. So why s/he should be here?

Why we are here? These verses doesn’t answer my questions.

Suffering doesn’t heal a wound instead it make it worst.

Except for the fact that it is Jesus who helps us in our suffering which makes all the difference in the world.

Not responsible for any personal fault, but the consequences of the father’s action are experienced by the son.

Through God’s will we exist with all the difficulties in our earthly lives. God has allowed free will, in making mankind in his image and likeness, so he can express both charity and malice. There is a universality of sin and death and of salvation in Christ.

That doesn’t make any sense. What do you do with children of criminal parents? You take care of them under custody. You don’t send them to jail.

Well, you mean that God allowed that sin happen which that resulted to a disastrous life on earth. Sin eventually happen when an agent has free will so why bother with creation?

Garden??? What are you talking about, Garden??? If we were in that Garden, you would have none to call you to the open arms of the Father in Heaven.
We are here, once we become Catholic, to be the open arms you yourself are seeking from God - to be light and salt and a city on a hill for people like you looking for the open arms.

When you become one of us, you are taking one that same mission to be light for all to see where they can find God with open arms.

The sons of God do the work of God; they are exactly like their Father, doing what he does, and exactly like the Son, mourning over those called who do not will to answer and come. The work of God is to announce, to call, and to welcome those who come to him and to give them life in his Name.

So, again, Come and become one of his People, be Baptized and confirmed; frequent the Sacraments.

There is suffering that children experience that is not due to any personal fault but that arises as a result of the actions of their parents, and sometimes these may be lifelong.

Some humans will freely choose charity over malice and be in the state of grace at the end of their life. They in the state of grace will merit and if so at the end of life, will retain the merit from their entire life.

How does He help you?
He heals me spiritually and physically. Jesus is Our Divine Physician who can do more than any physician on earth can do. Jesus surrounds me in love even in my darkest days.
