I have often thought about this myself, and think it is wrong. I struggle with a form of this myself, but think it is wrong to look down on someone based on the color of their skin. I know that i dislike Mexican/Hispanic men despite being Mexican because of the culture. Mexican men (generalizing some men are different) tend to see women as objects, and wives as property. It is okay to beat your wife if the wife didn’t clean the house right or the children dirty, even if she is sick. She is to submit to waiting on him hand and foot, attend to his every physical need. I know that I have been leered at by men, all hispanic. One time in a store I was about 10 feet from my family, this man was circling around and expected me to submit, I didn’t got ready to scream, hit scratch whatever necessary. This is what I don’t like about hispanic culture. I have noticed that Hispanics ignore or put others down, I think it is sad when we should rally together for a change in perception. Other than these two aforementioned topics I do enjoy my Hispanic culture. Problem is I am strong, independent, opinionated Hispanic, unfortunately, I just described a male persona not a female. Therein lies the rub

.
I rarely notice skin color when it comes to people, as long as they are respectful I don’t mind. Would I consider marrying a Mexican/Hispanic, yes if he didn’t view me as an object and respected me as a person. I have seen attractive males that are black, Native American, Indian, Asian and White.
