Royals & Pirates have been tough. Mets, by contrast, are some combination of choke artists/a joke/an embarrassment/nearly bankrupt, and, through it all, repeatedly break the hearts of their fans, over and over again…all the while having another team across town that wins world serieses.

Now that’s purgatory.

Royals? RIP Paul Splittorff. He was heck on the Yankees, and I’m old enough to know first hand.
 
So…Is Sin Hopping Just A Sporting Event?
