Let me put this another way. One should never apologize for being a prude. Striving for holiness and avoiding sin is universal to Christianity. The goal may be (for some, not you), to add to this an understanding that others that might be weaker in the faith, or maybe just more highly tempted to some serious sin. Unless on is suffering from some form of OCD, I can not imagine a situation where one can be too careful to avoid sin.

No, but if you mean that I believe in the Church’s teachings and don’t pick-and-choose, then I guess.

The thing about Lino is he is kind of a one of kind personality in Catholic media. He isn’t like someone who goes out and tries too hard. He merely acts like himself on air. While I haven’t listened in a while, I do remember enjoying his ability to banter, and to mix Catholicism with actually entertaining humor.

Lets get down to the real point: Now, obviously he isn’t for everybody — but he is evangelizing in his own way—and if it leads just one or two people who were reluctant to come to Mass because they felt uncomfortable or not holy enough or for some other reason to decide to give it a try—then he deserves to be heard. I think all of us can agree on that, at the very least.

Lol, I’ll add it to the list of other books I want to read (seriously). I think everybody who contributed to this thread should get a free meet-and-greet for all the free advertising!
