No, he’s not real. It’s common knowledge that there was a Photoshop contest on the internet a while back and someone completely made him up. It took off from there.

From the Something Awful forums.He was invented by a guy called Victor Surge(forum name) in 2009 for a Paranormal Photoshop contest.Surge took several old photoes(some black and white) and photoshopped Slenderman on them.Slenderman took the forum by storm though and soon the rest of the users in there started shopping Slendy on pics.They also spread the pics claiming SM was real and that’s how it achieved the status for an internet meme.Then came Marble Hornets,the games and the creepypastas that claimed SL is real.

there’s actually a way of doing that, it involves how the mind and eye coordinate. you’d have to stare into a mirror in a dimly lit space, such as a bathroom. after a minute or more, your face will, let’s just say, look different and there will be other things happening. this is an old party trick.

I think you’re really confused. He’s not real. I’ve read the conversation that led to his birth as an idea, it’s still online for all to see last I checked. He is an internet horror story, nothing more.

Even if he was real, I’m sure God could protect us from him. What with being omnipotent and all.
