Again I agree completely with you. Intentionally diminishing your ability to make moral choices is a sin. This is where I believe small amounts of alcohol, nicotine, caffeine and MJ are moral since I do not believe they diminish your ability to make moral choices.
How many times do we read about people high on alcohol, heroin,cocaine, meth, etc. being violent? They really are hard drugs. How many times do we read about people on caffeine, nicotine or MJ being violent? They really are soft drugs.
