Is streaming a show not accessible in my continent a sin?

Here’s the thing, Dragonball z is 9 seasons. Here there’s only season 1, 5 and 9 and they are all of a different collection.

I don’t know much about it. You want to buy or watch the whole series? I thought you just wanted to watch some of it again.

I can see season 2 in there too and also an entire box set collection if you scroll down.

No, I’ve never heard of it before. I’ll be sure to check it out though so thanks for telling me. However I’d still like to watch it, just because I found something else of interesting and wholesome doesn’t mean I want to let go of another thing I really care about.

Technically, you are streaming the show from within that country. You are paying a company (VPN) company to do that for you virtually so you don’t have to travel there.

I completely agree. For the legal aspect, where I live, streaming isn’t illegal, only distributing is (even this is debatable as recently a judge said it isn’t as long as the distributor doesn’t make anything out of it).
Either way I’ll check again.
I was more concerned for the moral aspect, but I think that the solution I came up with covers that too.
If there is no sin in it they why the donation?

Well, it initially was part of the plan but having thought about it I feel like it’s something I should do even without taking in consideration all these exterior factors.

You mean unrelated to streaming, copyrights, royalties, and such?

Yup, exactly.
I never watched Dragon Ball Z, but did stream free (un-dubbed) 220 of 220 Naruto episodes and 366 of 500 Naruto Shippuden episodes. VIZ - Hulu (with advertisements).

Well I’m pretty sure Naruto Shippuden is free on crunchy roll and perfectly legal no questions asked.
I too watched Naruto Shippuden like 10 years ago, too bad I didn’t know about crunchy roll because I had to watch it with a cropped screen and terrible audio on YouTube skipping episodes, which again is perfectly legal since it’s up to YouTube to keep their platform clean.

If you want to rewatch it crunchy roll here’s the link: https://www.crunchyroll.com/naruto

It seems to me that if there really isn’t a way to stream it in your country, then if you got a VPN to make your computer look like it was in America, and actually pay for the streaming service you aren’t stealing the material at all. Instead you are making a good faith effort to make sure that the owners are paid for your enjoyment of the material they already distribute.

That’s a very specific case, though and you really, really have to approach the whole thing in good faith. Contrary to what you have said, Akira Toriyama, Toei animation, and Funimation are still making money off of the IP. You can still defraud them these days.

Also, I’m fairly certain there are ways to legally watch DBZ in Europe so I don’t think your hands are as tied as you think.

Ok my mistake then (although I’m still certain that whilst tori animation gets payed the specific producers who worked on it have the time have already been paid).
It seems to me like the best course of action would be to pay for this VPN for I guess 2 months and then watch the series on funimation.
If you find any way to see it in Europe be sure to tell me.

Thank you. I have used crunchy roll (AT&T) on PC before.
