Now how about summing up what you’re trying to say instead of burying it under a wall of unreadable text?
Respectfully toward agree with you! 🙂 Thank you for your kind advice, about summing it up. That is the responsibility for each of us to do. Test all Spirits.
Anyone who hears you Peter hears me. Peace 🙂

It is good to remember that there was a Church in 1940 and that after all the rot that followed that date, there is still a Church today, and us reading the prayer card in 2018.

Did all sin? yes Romans 3:23 since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, read and understand ?Luke 1:28 Hail full of Grace, the Truth(Jesus).Jeremiah 31:22 How long will you waver,O faithless daughter? (Eve and we her children) For the Lord has created a new thing on the earth:a woman(Mother Mary sinless ) protects a man.( Jesus)” John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. was it not? and how did Jesus come the chosen women Mary who was found to be in Grace.

Galatians 4:26 But the other woman corresponds to the Jerusalem above; she is free and she is our mother ( MARY). (MOTHER MARY IS SINLESS and Mary retain "perpetual virginity), 27 For it is written, “Rejoice, you childless one, you who bear no children, burst into song and shout, you who endure no birth pangs; for the children of the desolate woman are more numerous than the children of the one who is married.”

The Heavenly Father has choose Mother as an example for us, We all humans should be born spiritually in Mother Mary a mold and a perfect vessel Song of Solomon 4:7 You are all fair, my love;
there is no flaw(sin) in you.She is sinless Galatians 4:26 and She is our Mother, by imitating Her virtues in obeying Her Son in all things we become her children,Mary if the Ark of the Covenant Rev 11:19 and Rev 12:1-2 ,the Greatest treasure Mary given to us from the cross Jesus completed His mission and said it is finished ,Read and understand ?
Does not our Heavenly Father call all Woman to bring forth His Greatest Treasure, his most Scared Blessing, he has chosen to come through the Womb of a Woman, to turn into flesh His beloved sons and daughters= a child?
Correction here, No God has choose Mother Mary above all women in Luke 1:41 and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit 42 and she exclaimed with a loud cry, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit (Jesus) of your womb! God the Holy Spirit Himself is speaking through St Elizabeth as an instrument since no body can call Lord with out the Holy Spirit Is it true? yes the Word of God is True Jn 17:17 as the Word of God became flesh in Her ,so we all should be come flesh in her and be born spiritually by her.
Jesus suffered the most agony of death on the cross for the lowly, who were thought of as nothing, rebuking those who thought they were, did he not?
1 Corinthians 6:17 But he who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with him. so did Mother Mary suffered spiritually martyrdom like many saints who had stigmata even more than all the humans because she was united with Jesus on the cross.

Yes, Grace is Jesus and came through Mary and the Heavenly Father wants to give Grace through Mary 1 Corinthians 11:1 Be imitators of me( Mary), as I am of Christ. sirach 24;18 I am the mother (Mary) of beautiful love, of fear, of knowledge, and of holy hope; being eternal, I therefore am given to all my children, to those who are named by him.God Bless

Here’s some more advice: Refrain from posting gibberish.

It is good to remember that there was a Church in 1940 and that after all the rot that followed that date, there is still a Church today, and us reading the prayer card in 2018.
When I see this prayer card, I always think things would have been much worst if it hadn’t been for the prayers of the church throughout those times.

June 1940, the month France surrendered as had the low countries a few week before. Exactly the next year on June Barbarossa and that winter the Germans were on the outskirts of Moscow. Those prayers might have made a difference, as I’m sure your prayers make a difference today.

It was a frightening time. I think of so many people not knowing if they would live through it, including my father. Thank you Jesus for getting us through such bad times.

In honoring the words of Jesus in John 19:26 When Jesus saw his mother, and the disciple whom he loved standing near, he said to his mother, “Woman,(addressing as the Women of Genesis 3:15 the New Eve our Mother Mary) behold, your son!” 27 Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!”( its a commandment Exodus 20:12 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long(Eternity ) in the land (Heaven)which the Lord your God gives you). And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home(His heart, the Church, for all human race for Eternity).

Yea,those who also reject his words deliberately even after knowing it Listen not to others? sinners? scoffers, or those who say the opposite of the Word of God and twist it ,believe in the Gospels, His Doctrines, His infallible Words ? the Only Truth John 17:17 follow His Commandments and not change them as said in Matthew 5:18
Psalm 129:5 May all who hate Zion( metaphorically Mother Mary) be put to shame and turned backward! Psalm 137:5 If I(God) forget you, O Jerusalem(Mother Mary), let my right hand wither!

2 John 1:9 Any one who goes ahead and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God; he who abides in the doctrine has both the Father and the Son. 10 If any one comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into the house or give him any greeting; 11 for he who greets him shares his wicked work.

Revelation 12:14 But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle=(ST John) that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness, to the place where she is to be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time. 15 The serpent poured water=(Word of God, false doctrines as some protestants does ) like a river out of his mouth after the woman, to sweep her away with the flood. 16 But the earth came to the help of the woman, and the earth=(Catholic and all those who honor Her and respect Her) opened its mouth and swallowed the river which the dragon had poured from his mouth. 17 Then the dragon was angry with the woman(Mother Mary ), and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring= (Catholic and other who honor Mother Mary , on those who keep the commandments of God and bear testimony to Jesus. And he stood on the sand of the sea.

Mark 1:15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent, and believe in the gospel.”
Matthew 11:19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say: Behold a man that is a glutton and a wine drinker, a friend of publicans and sinners. And wisdom (Mother Mary )is justified by her children(we Catholic ).
Sirach 24 :19-22“Come to me(Mother Mary), you who desire me, and eat your fill of my fruits.20 For the memory of me is sweeter than honey, and the possession of me sweeter than the honeycomb.21 Those who eat of me will hunger for more, and those who drink of me will thirst for more.22 Whoever obeys (Jesus obeyed Luke 2:19,51 ; Exodus 20:12 Honor your father and your mother,)me(Mother Mary ) will not be put to shame, and those who work with me(Mother Mary ) will not sin.”

True, but at the same time Mary is omnipotent according to the Glories of Mary.

“She is omnipotent, for the queen, according to all laws, enjoys the same privileges as the king; and since the son’s power also belongs to the mother, this Mother is made omnipotent by an omnipotent Son.”
Respectfully opinion only. What does our Heavenly Father have to say about our Blessed Mary and her reply?

According to what is written in Luke 1:46-48 My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord;
my spirit rejoices in God my savior
For he has looked upon his handmaid lowliness behold from not on will all ages call me blessed…a Title and a promise given All ages call me Blessed. To be known as?

Question seeking answers to
If our Blessed Mary is the new Eve, was Eve not a human being our Heavenly Father created who had fallen short? And we all came from our great great maternal etc Grandparents in the flesh, all have taken on Eve transgression, sin fallen short?

Are we not all called to become the new Spiritual Eve within each one of us? Seek to restore, repent, return to our Heavenly Father?
Return to Me and I will return to you?
Like Blessed Mary did also, let our souls proclaim the mercy and goodness of the Lord and what he has done for us?
Let our spirit within us also, rejoice in him also?

Our Loving Heavenly Holy Father, who is King of Kings, desires his children to share in the privileges of His House hold, The King, bestowing His Graces to us also, thus he came laid down his life for us, was crucified?
The less they type out their question -

The more easier they are to spot and laugh at.
One chooses not to laugh at others, pondering on what is written, of those who laughed, mocked, falsely accused Jesus of blasphemy and even being satan himself, did they not? Jesus did not choose those who thought themselves to be the wisest or highly learned did he? Did Jesus instead, boldly, harshly rebuked those who thought to be wise, in Matthew 23?

Love your neighbor as you love yourself.
Peace 🙂

Biblical types don’t always correspond that way. Christ is many times prefigured by sinful people, in order to show how He does what those in the OT failed to do. The clearest example of this is how St. Paul speaks of “Adam, who is a figure of him who was to come,” (Rom 5:14), elsewhere saying, “And as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive.” (1 Cor 15:22).

So, in the case of Solomon and Bathsheba, we see the formal custom presented (which is no arbitrary detail), the custom being that the king rises for no one but the queen mother, who intercedes for others, and that the king will honor her every request. In practice though, Solomon did not follow this custom.
Almost all the kings mentioned in 1 & 2 kings are listed along with the names of their mothers.
And Solomon is proved to be wicked in the end. Yet Solomon was used as a type of Christ in that great Messianic prophecy of 2 Sam 7, as the seed of David, the Davidic king, and a speaker of parables. Christ did what Solomon failed to do.
So also, this queen mother did not ask a good request, since Adonijah was indeed seeking to usurp the sovereignty by his request. Whereas Mary the true Queen Mother, asks always in accordance with God’s will, and in total subjection to His Sovereignty; which is, very straightforwardly, the reason her requests are always granted.
And indeed, as Sammy stated, Mary does not command God. She request, and He obeys her requests, not commands.

This is a cool bonus. The queen mother’s intercession to the king again appears at the end of the Book of Proverbs, addressed to king Lamuel (which may or may not be another name for Solomon, but in any case is a Jewish king):

The words of king Lamuel. The vision wherewith his mother instructed him.
What, O my beloved,
what, O the beloved of my womb,
what, O the beloved of my vows?

. . .
Give strong drink to them that are sad:
and wine to them that are grieved in mind:

. . .
Open thy mouth, decree that which is just,
and do justice to the needy and poor.

(Prov 31:1-2,6,9)

repent ?understand Proverbs 8:22 The Lord(Heavenly Father) created me (Mother Mary) at the beginning of his work, the first of his acts of long ago.23 Ages ago I was set up, at the first, before the beginning of the earth.24 When there were no depths I was brought forth, when there were no springs abounding with water.25 Before the mountains had been shaped, before the hills, I was brought forth—26 when he had not yet made earth and fields, or the world’s first bits of soil.27 When he established the heavens, I was there, when he drew a circle on the face of the deep,28 when he made firm the skies above, when he established the fountains of the deep,29 when he assigned to the sea its limit,so that the waters might not transgress his command, when he marked out the foundations of the earth,30 then I (Mary) was beside him, like a master worker;and I (Mary )was daily his delight, rejoicing before him always,31 rejoicing in his inhabited world and delighting in the human race.32 “And now, my children, listen to me: happy are those who keep my ways.33 Hear instruction and be wise, and do not neglect it.34 Happy is the one who listens to me (Mary)

@rose321 please edit your post because you misquote me as saying something that another user wrote.

Quote my entire post, then keep the comments “nested” and carefully remove what you don’t want keeping the structure of ‘quote’ tags intact. Afterwards add what you wrote underneath. You are quoting me as saying something I didn’t, and I don’t like being misquoted on this.

St. Alphonsus Liguori is not a heretic.
Exactly. The work in question isn’t a recent discovery. Part of the entire canonization process is to look at the individual’s books and other written material.

If it is found to be heretical, it means he doesn’t have the right stuff for canonization.’

The fact that he’s a saint says a lot.

Respectfully toward. Opinion only. Pondering oh my, where does one begin when one reads the whole Book of Jeremiah from beginning to end and what it it is all about?

Jeremiah is known as the >weeping prophet, question why?

Jeremiah 31:22 is not speaking about our Blessed Mary 💗 is he?
But the House of Israel, northern Nation, being as a faithless daughter who has been put away by her husband whom she betrayed, is this what Jeremiah is speaking about? After she leaves him and marries another man may he return to her again?> read Jeremiah 3:1 maybe? Then read Exodus 4:22 maybe?

According the Laws of Moses she cannot? Commandments prevent? metaphor?

Jeremiah 31:30?
Jeremiah 31:31-34 Days are coming when I will gather the House of Israel and the House of Judah? Why? split? why? And has this prophecy of Jeremiah 31"31-34 yet come to pass?
Do all >>know> him today on earth?
I Will teach you, will need no one to teach you?

Is Jeremiah compares Israel (lost 10 tribes) their spiritual disloyalty, as being a adulterous woman, who has put away her husband, woman went after baal other gods? >Jeremiah 2:23>3:1?
Deut 24:1. Deut 13:6-8, Deut 29:28-29 states what?
Exodus 4:22?
Psalms 111:7-8 Psalms 136:1

What must Israel do to reconcile and will he remain angry for ever?> Jeremiah 3:4, 3:5
Jeremiah 3:14 Almighty answers comforting oath?
Jeremiah 3:35-36
Jeremiah 7:3-7 -21-23
Jeremiah 17:19-29
Jeremiah 23:77-8
Then the Prophet Isaiah 2:3, 54:8-10,
Ezekiel 11:19:20
Ezekiel 37:24
Isaiah 2:3
Exodus 35:3

Something new, would it not be? The Woman (Nation) will return to the man (Our Heavenly Father) Jeremiah 31:31-34 eternal oath?

Psalm 136:1 O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good for his steadfast love endures forever.

Peace 🙂

I don’t think that is true. If a person has espoused a heretical view, I think it is possible that he can still be canonized as a saint.

Hello rose321:
This has happened to me several times also. The client is not user friendly in this regard.

St. Paul was a murderer and St. Dismas was a theif. Doing evil doesn’t invalidate your sainthood, because God forgives. Still doesn’t change the facts, though; Someone can write a heretical work and still go on to live a saintly life and be canonized.

There is something else that I think about when the question of God obeying a human arises. It may sound heretical, but from a Catholic standpoint, God obeys every man who is a priest when at Mass he consecrates simple bread and wine to become the actual Presence of the Second Person of the Trinity to come to us. He says “Lord let your spirit come upon these gifts like the dewfall, so that they may become for us the body and blood of Your Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ” In our beliefs, God always obeys that command, the Holy Spirit comes upon that altar and those gifts of bread and wine, He is present, at the command/invitation of the priest. Shocking. Yes. Heretical, no. God does obey man.
And even in the simple thought, “when two are gathered in my name, I am there.” Get a group together in the name of Jesus Christ, and He is there in their midst. Something we believe.

You are wrong @AlNg. If someone has heretical positions they aren’t canonized. What could happen, is that the saint was canonized having written doctrinal or philosophical errors at a time the church hadn’t pronounced itself officially about those errors. [We are talking about a timeline where events are sometimes many centuries in between, from the life of the saint, to the canonization, to some doctrinal definition that came much latter.] A good example of this would be saint Augustin writing about “limbo”.

The slightest hint at heresy stops a canonization.
