Is the great apostacy on it's way?

Reading this, could the predicted great apostacy be on it’s way? just saying…

For the first time in the US there are more NONE OF THE ABOVE than Catholics…

I don’t think so. Apostasy means abandoning or turning away from the faith that you once had. I think the Nones never had much faith to begin with. They weren’t brought up in the faith, and yet faith may grow in them someday.

Some may see the Great Apostasy as a collective or societal turning away from faith. I disagree with that interpretation. Faith is not societal or collective. Faith is personal. One person believes or does not. You have faith. I have faith. If a neighbor or brother has faith and then abandons it, and then he is an apostate.

The Nones are an opportunity for evangelization. We have much reason for hope!

Our greatest commandments are to trust in our Creator and to love our neighbors.
In my opinion, our great turning away from these two protocols constitutes the Great Apostasy.
Our deployment of massive arsenals of nuclear constitutes that refusal to trust in His providence.
That we feel that these horrible devices are somehow necessary for our safety proves that we do not trust Him. The terrible threat that they pose against our Orthodox Christian brothers and sisters on the other side of the world shows how little respect we have for “Love your neighbors.”

Is not “Great apostasy” a term coined by separatists? Our Lord told us all we need to know when he said:

“When the Son of man comes, will He find any faith on earth?” Luke 18:8
