MrS:
Do the words

“…One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism…” mean anything to you?
Thanks for asking. This is almost too easy 😉

One Lord
In Christ Alone
One Faith
In Christ Alone
One Baptism
In Christ Alone

I agree with your point other than one matter, and that being that God is less concerned with doctrinal differences. Your point up until that is actually very good. But that one point at the end is very important.

“I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, nobody comes to the Father except through me.”

Nobody comes to the Father except through the Truth.

“This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.”

"The Lord hates all abomination of error, and they who fear him shall not love it.

One Faith
In Christ Alone
“One Faith In Christ Alone” does not equal 30,000 divided and bickering Protestant sects that cannot all agree on one single doctrine of the faith.

it does if your understanding of faith depends on the pastor you hired to replace the one you fired who did not have your faith:rolleyes::rolleyes:

In Christ Alone we are one faith. In the flesh we are many divisons.
In Christ Alone we destroy the works of Satan. In the flesh we are defeated.

In heaven there will be many mansions, I know this to be true because Jesus has said so. Many mighty men and women of God have said that there are various crowns and rewards in heaven and different places of reward. If whis is true to you think that Methodists will be rewarded more than Luthern or Baptists more than Unitarian or Catholic more than Pentacostal?

I believe that once they “get in” (and NOTHING unclean will enter heaven…thank God for the “final rinse” of Purgatory)… they will ALL be Catholic. Jesus said ONE FAITH… and I think He meant it.

So it will not be a question of which denomination gets closer to the thrown.

It might be a question of height (cuz short Mother Theresa I think will be way up front! 😉 )

It will be a question of what you did with the talents God gave you… please refer to “…well done good and faithful servant…”

I don’t think that those 30,000 +/- are in Christ Alone… they self interpret Christ and have two Sola’s… Scripture and Faith… the two pillars on which all of Protestantism will fall.

Then we must conclude that Protestant sects are “fleshly” because they are divided into thousands of bickering sects that can’t agree on what constitutes the faith handed on by the Apostles.

Did Jesus ever say that the church that he founded would be fragmented into thousands of fleshly sects confused about the truth? Satan is the author of confusion, and the doctrinal confusion that reigns supreme in Protestantism is the work of Satan. Satan used Martin Luther to introduce to the world the unheard of doctrine of sola scriptura with its reliance on the private interpretation of scripture. Protestantism has been degenerating ever since into ever increasing doctrinal chaos because of this heresy.

There are no Protestants in Heaven that are still confused and fighting over what is true. In Heaven, all know that Christ founded ONE Church - the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. In Heaven, all the saints are members of the one true church.

Here’s a verse of scripture that you’re never going to be able to overcome, no matter how much you attempt to distort the truth, SolaChristo:

1 Timothy 3:15

“But if I should be delayed, you should know how to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of truth.

There’s your answer. I pray that one day you will actually see it as such. Scripture points us to Christ’s established Church. You are being called to get out of the boat.

Have you ever did a word study on the Greek word for “church” have you ever did a study what Hebrew word is the equivalent to “church” in the LXX?

This exercise will help you undersand what was meant here.

I have and it fits pretty well with the fact that this is referring to the institution of the Catholic Church.

Is your God as small as you make Him out to be?

There is no study that will interpret any language of “church” to mean anything other than THE CHURCH. It does not mean the fallible, sinful body of Christ… it does not mean the fallible body of believers…

It means the infallible, perfect gift from Jesus Christ (Matt 16) guided by the Holy Spirit. Jesus=Truth=His Church… in any language.

Without faith it is impossible to please God!!!

Please explain how congregation and assembly fit into your interpretation to the Church that Jesus’ founded.

and your authority for this is…

We are saved by Grace Alone, through Faith Alone, acting in Love.

So let’s not skip the Grace or Love parts.

This is true, and Matt16_18 doesn’t say anything to disagree.

What is also true is that without obedience it is impossible to please God. This is where Protestants so often lack.

As the great Apostle, the Catholic St. Paul taught in Romans…

“…the obedience of Faith…”

I understand you believe that Jesus founded the Roman Church and that all others who say they are Christians arent part of this Church.
I understand that----you dont have to keep repeating it. I understand your position.
I happen to disagree.
If you love God with your whole heart, your whole soul your whole will and each person as you would yourself then Ill see you in heaven 😉

Then you do not understand.

If you are validly baptized, you have accepted that God’s grace is working in you, and you are a member of the Body of Christ, as I am. That is one aspect of the Church

If you accept all that the Church reveals to you as Divine Truth (which I see that you have not), then Catholics would call you brethren, but separated brethren…still part of the Church.

In God’s time, He will call on you to come to Him totally, so that He can come to you totally… The Eucharist, the Real Presence is the fulfillment of His promise to “,be with you always…”

If we both walk toward the Lord, and follow as best we can in His footsteps, we will be together for eternity as full and fully accepting members of His One, True, Catholic and Apostolic Church… and I know you understand what that One Church is called here on Earth…
