Ok, let’s just be clear here because you keep giving statements that seem to imply something.

Do you actually think that there will be women “priests” in the future? Because you keep implying that you do.
It’s possible, as with all things, that there will be women priests in the future. So yes, I think that possibly there will be women priests in the future. I certainly wouldn’t mind one bit 🙂 Now, I’ve certainly never aspired to be a priest, or any other religious, but I’m quite certain there will be quite a few women who will be overjoyed.
And it doesn’t matter how many 🙂 faces you put or how gentle you phrase it, it’s never going to happen. Never ever. You mine as well accept that now.
Well you know what they say about never saying ‘never’ 😉

From Wikipedia:
A delusion is a belief held with strong conviction despite superior evidence to the contrary.[1] Unlike hallucinations, delusions are always pathological (the result of an illness or illness process).[1] As a pathology, it is distinct from a belief based on false or incomplete information, dogma, poor memory, illusion, or other effects of perception.

I dont care if its Biblical or not, I just want to know if its possible.

If the Pope ordained a woman, could that woman be ordained validly?

I understand completely that Woman Ordinations are out of the question in the Catholic Church because Jesus never ordained woman.

All I am asking is if it is even possible to ordain women?

Thank you.
no it isn’t possible to ordain a women. if you go read the prayers for ordination, the gender Male is part of the prayer.

The prayer can be changed, just as it was changed from Latin, and before that was changed at the Council of Trent, etc. etc. - Jesus himself didn’t give us the form of ordination in the English language (nor in any language).

Well, I hope you’re prepared to be eternally disappointed.

You never seem to give any justification besides “I think it would be a good idea”.

And Jesus would have probably given us a prayer in Aramaic or maybe Hebrew if He wanted to give us one.

Not all things are possible - in this instance that Jesus will suddenly be shown not to be a man but a woman. Thus it is impossible that at some time in the future there will be females ordained to the Catholic priesthood. That Jesus is a Man - and not just MAN - settles the issue.

‘Never’ is the right word.

If you have any care for God, the Church, and Sacraments, you should mind, because as soon as there are priestesses, God has been proved a liar, his Church has been proven apostate (and fallible, with a history of teaching false doctrines), and she (or her supposed “priestesses”) shall be able to administer no valid Sacrament (such as confecting the Eucharist).

At least I suppose it would put an end to the Catholic-Orthodox divide once and for all, by leaving Orthodoxy the only church left standing (and thus the one the “Gates of Hell did not prevail against”).

I’ve heard people say “If the Catholic Church ever ordained women, I will be front and centre at the nearest Orthodox Church the next Sunday”.
