Is there a safe way to communicate with good spirits/angels?

We are born with the empty hole that can only be filled by God. Your soul sounds like it is in a struggle between good and evil, and maybe those forces are coming from outside of your own knowledge. The trouble is, other than prayer, trying to contact spirits leads to deception. The lowest level spirits will be the ones to come through, and disguise themselves. As soon as you ‘let them in’ they can consume your life, and your soul is at risk. It will become an obsession. The devil and evil spirits have great ability to mislead, lie, and deceive. Perhaps you attempt this, and someone tell you details that they are some relative or friend who passed, does this prove it’s them, simply having knowledge? All of the sudden, you don’t know why but your life is in shambles. Please reconsider, and try to meditate with prayer. God will fill you with His Spirit, and you will eventually find answers. It’s never in our time, but God’s. Be encouraged that your desire to connect probably comes from God, and the devil is trying to tempt you to find him instead.
 
I’m sorry if you were upset by my remark, although I was and am a little baffled that you found it so hurtful. It seems to me like a normal, direct conversation. People have different personalities I guess.

I am a person who has known and heard of a number of people who decided they were going to try getting in touch with some dark spirits or some powerful angels. Very bad things happened to them. That stuff is nothing to experiment with.

What you initially proposed to do strikes me as very dangerous, and also needless/ or likely to be non-productive. It would be like if someone said they had lost belief in God so they were going to run into highway traffic and if they made it to the other side without harm, that would show that God existed and cared about them. Maybe you don’t, or didn’t, realize that your suggestion was a foolish idea that would cause you much risk. I deal all day long with people considering business risks and if they are considering taking a very foolish risk, I will tell them what I think of it, probably bluntly, and sometimes they will grumble, sometimes they will laugh, but nobody minds directness as they themselves are direct (it is a cultural thing).

Try not to be so sensitive. People here for the most part are speaking out of a concern for your own good. It may not always be coated with sugar and spice and everything nice, but it’s a tiny, tiny hardship to deal with a smart remark from a stranger, vs. potentially having to deal with an evil spirit that you contacted, getting a foothold in your life. You may well hear blunt statements from priests if you talk to them about these concepts too - some are very no-nonsense guys. God bless.
 
The reason you are here asking if by virtue of your Baptismal vows. The Holy Spirit doesn’t give up on us, even when we think we’ve got the world figured out, not to mention the next life.
There is that SPARK awakening in you that is saying “Is this all there is?” THe answer is no, that is not “it”.
Study the faith, buy something like Catholicism for Dummies and read it. It’s an EXCELLENT book despite the off-putting title. And speak with a priest, casually, for coffee, or in his office, or on a long walk.

I would invite you to also read today’s Gospel as it speaks to this:

From the Book of Matthew, Chapter 9

As Jesus passed by,
he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the customs post.
He said to him, “Follow me.”
And he got up and followed him.
While he was at table in his house,
many tax collectors and sinners came
and sat with Jesus and his disciples.

“Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
He heard this and said,
“Those who are well do not need a physician, but the sick do.
Go and learn the meaning of the words,
I desire mercy, not sacrifice.
I did not come to call the righteous but sinners.”

Dont degenerate the Trinity.

We pray to God, this does not mean we are entitled to have our prayers answered. You are approaching this wrongly. It’s not what God can do for you, it’s about you doing God’s will

Based on the responses I have received, the bottom line to my question is that everyone is afraid to communicate with spirits via any method other than “praying.” I am going to take my chances and attempt to use a Ouija board (and possibly a few other simple methods), because I feel I have no other reasonable choice. If I die today, I am a non-believer. Per Christian teachings, I am doomed if there is indeed a God. It’s important enough to me to take a big chance, and I feel I should not wait a single day longer than I absolutely have to. Thank you to all that have taken the time to respond.
 
You might try watching sid Roth TV show. He features people who teach you supernaturally principles. It seems you are frustrated and seek a “damakas road experience” or watch john Paul Jackson testimony on utube.

a thing that is against what God teaches us in the bible, and every exorcist in the Catholic Church teaches.You wont find God that way.

heres a question for you .

what makes you think you are

entitled

to something that a little old
senior citizen who has been praying and attending Mass devoutly for 70 80
90 years , Or a soldier facing death at the frontline , and praying his
Rosary , has never had?

you think God is going to pay any attention to that sort of spiritual tantrum from you?

First, I don’t believe in God. You must have missed that part in the first posting. I would be apologizing to a make believe entity at this point. You were the person that was offended and hence you were who I aimed my sincere apology to. I did not see a response from God saying he was offended. Had he, then a lot of my issues would be solved AND I would have apologized to Him. “Entitled” is a word that you have used, not me. I am very humbly, honestly, seeking the truth. That’s all I want, and that is all I am asking for. If God finds fault in my seeking the honest truth with extremely good intentions (which mine are) then I guess I and most of humanity are in big trouble. I am seeking help from supposed Christians and other societally-helpful people…or so I thought.

You are displaying quite the negativity using such kind terms as “tantrums.” I am not sure why you using that word, but OK, I get it you likely super old school and feel a person should not question things and should just suck it up and follow your orders. I will just leave it at that and let you know that you are not being very helpful at all. I guess you could be leaning in the right direction when using the term “ultimatum,” because I am in a sense saying give me some form of proof or else I am done following blindly. A sensible fair God, knowing how humans are designed will surely be understanding of why we might need to have some form of proof, especially with all the false prophets and false religions out there. I am not asking to have my ailments cured, or to bring back from the dead my Mother that was robbed of her life by cancer, or my friend and cousin killed in car wrecks in their teens and 20’s. I am seeking a very very simple sign of spirits to know it is not just fantasy so that I can buy into it and commit myself to it. My life is more than half over. I do not want to waste a single day more going in the wrong direction…either with or without a God. I just want the truth.

You say you don’t believe in God and want to communicate “safely” with spirits. We have told you many times that Catholics do not think communicating with spirits can ever safely be done.

I’m not sure what you want us to tell you,. All spiritual life lead to God or to Hell. If you don’t accept God exists then I simply don’t understand what answers you are asking for. For believers there is God or the demonic and none of us are going to give you a thumbs up to communicate with the demonic.
 
I’ve spent some time studying communicating with spirits. These beings don’t have bodies, and they promise people all sorts of good things, but they deceive people. They are known by various names which I won’t post here. And I know of people who have had dramatic and good things happen but never by seeking spirits, only by praying to God or asking the saints for intercessory prayer. I’ve read that these spirits will lead you down a path that will be difficult to return from.

I hear you loud and clear. The “Christian” community is saying there is no safe way to communicate with good spirits. So it leaves me with a choice of doing nothing different from before, hoping to experience something new and good on “God’s” time line; Or I can take some risks doing something different and hope for a good outcome. While some bad things might happen, at least God & I will know I am doing something and I am doing it for the right reasons. Oh, and I am not going to try to contact the demonic. I will only be trying to reach kind/good spirits. My guess is a demon spirit will not communicate with me because then it will be giving me what I need to believe in God.
 
you came on asking for advice, you got mine. several times.

you dont like my advice, the advice of the Catholic Church, and God Himself, regarding seer seeking and consulting the ‘spiritual’
supernatural world

then just scroll on by. ignore our advice. Others can read it.

sometimes we dont get the advice we want to hear, and we just want to hear how our entitled short cuts to faith are the most intelligent idea out there.

again , take your example from Abraham, Moses, and Our Blesed Virgin Mary.

How much faith would they have needed for the challenges they faced. Or Job. or any Martyr.

God does God’s Will, not our will. Stop focussing on you. start praying for those in extreme physical hardship atm. Turn the news on and pray for the suffering you see.

look for the suffering of Jesus in the suffering of people in the street, at the shops, in hospitals , funerals. etc.

find God in selflessness of prayer
 
John Paul Jackson has a teaching that describes the difference between psychics and prophets. The spiritual realm is real just like the INTERNET. Finding spiritual teachers can be difficult.
 
Several of those you sighted received “signs” in their life time according to scripture, sooooooo, yeah, it would be much easier for them to follow God and believe. They did not have to rely on blind faith. That is what I am asking for. A super simple sign. No I don’t deserve it, but I am and have been asking God for a long time. Thank you for your advice.
 
You say this, but then you say you don’t believe in God.
There’s your problem.
You seek goodness without belief in the One is ALL GOOD.

That’s like saying you want to enjoy ice cream but you are allergic to all the ingredients.

Want goodness in your life, want to communicate with angels and saints? They are God’s friends. His creation, those who love Him and work for Him to help us attain heaven.
Become a friend of God and see if things don’t turn out just beautifully for you.

You can’t communicate with a demon who has also denied God’s goodness and refused His love and expect anything good to happen out of it.
Run in front of a semi truck and you’ll get squashed.

I hope you come to peace, and communion with the Lord.
 
imagine the blind faith Mary had when an Angel rocked up
and said … so you want to be pregnant as an unmarried girl
, betrothed .
Her punishment for turning up betrothed unmarried and pregnant was being stoned
to death.

she was a teenager.
