Is there a safe way to communicate with good spirits/angels?

Thank you for the response Wesrock. Why is it considered immoral to communicate with a spirit? Prayer is basically the same thing, I just have found that after 45+ years of praying with no successful outcomes, I need a different method of communication that might work.

  1. There is a very big difference between “I pray to a saint or angel” and “I try to force an angel to show up in visible form.”
  2. You have no power to make an angel come to you no matter what you do.
  3. Demons love this kind of thing. It gives them a chance to get their hooks into you, and that is always going to be bad for you because they hate us.
 
It would be great if there were a way to communicate with the Holy Angels without any danger, but there isn’t any way to safely engage in a two-way communication with spirits. The safest thing to do is to humble yourself face-down on the floor and sincerely ask God to help you with your unbelief.

The most dangerous way to find out if God is real is to renounce Him and become atheist or worse, pagan, and then come back to Him. You will set yourself up for a demonic attack. I know from experience. But I can tell you honestly, that a unambiguous demonic attack is the best thing that can ever happen to a person. Nothing brings you closer to God than a demonic attack. It resolves all your doubts and questions forever.

The Ouija board might give you the answers you are seeking, but once you open that Pandora’s box, you might not be able to close it. You risk possession. Lots of possessed people started with Ouija boards. Play at your own risk, you’ve been warned.
 
Jesus exorcised demons out of people. Jesus did not work to put demons into people. Using those boards and other things works, through the activity you are doing , works to put demons into people’s worlds

You should start reading the Gospels, and how Jesus worked exercising demons. At one point, he put a legion of demons into pigs and they ran over a cliff

We are all telling you , why are you not listening?

You bring up some great points in your post, @BoomerangToo.

I was also thinking that when the saints were seeing spirits, they were under the care of their Confessors and Spiritual Directors. They were under obedience to them. They listened to them, with humility. St. Faustina comes to my mind.

I also think about what world-renowned Demonologist John Zaffis said once about the use of Ouija Boards. He said that they work, even though people think that using one might not have any kind of effect, at first.

He said that they always work, and that it may appear that nothing may happen at first, but he said that it can take a year or longer before the negative effects start to appear from using one. He said that he has seen the negative effects from people using them.

When I heard him say that where they always work, that has always stayed with me. That was one of the freakiest and creepiest comments that I have ever heard about a Ouija Board. 😦

Angels and demons do appear because a person asked for an appearance. They may appear as an action of their own free will at a time and place that helps them accomplish their agenda.

A demon will not appear if his action will lead a person toward God.

An angel will not appear because it doesn’t have to. We have the word of God in the old and new testaments. We have the Church started by Jesus Christ. These are all we need to develop spiritually.
 
It is very different because prayer to God is to God and prayer to spirits is to spirits. I know plenty of people who have gotten into this kind of communication and I did before I was a Christian. I have seen it really hurt people…

Luke-Suncook, you are pointing out that which I cannot help. I am a cradle Catholic so I was raised with a bunch of believers and went to Catholic Schools. I have faked believing to fit in for all these years. Even after getting married in the Church, I have raised two children as Catholics doing all the things I was called to do. Always going to Mass. Participating in all the Sacraments. But, it’s just all fake. I am not saying that church and Religion don’t serve a good purpose for society, but that is just is all fake. It’s Easter Bunnies and Santa Clauses. I wish I had that “Faith” thing. I told myself I had it, but as you mature and learn more about the Church itself and how the Bible came to be in existence…the real FACTS, that is when you realize that it’s all man made to help explain the unexplainable. Things we have not yet figured out or simply do not have the intellectual ability to comprehend. Our ego’s are so big, that we have to tell ourselves that we will live forever through this God being. No that is not true unfortunately. We are just another animal, much smarter then all others on this planet. But when we die. We are simply fed back into the dirt of the planet and the cycle continues. Sad to say, but that is the conclusion I have come to and I don’t know why anyone else would not figure this out, other than our Human EGOS. Thanks for trying to help though.

Those who reject the love and goodness of God tend to be pretty unhappy because they seek answers in other people.

Please do not fall into this notion that we don’t need God or Church.
It’ wrong, and it will lead you to great depths of despair.

I wish I had your confidence to believe. What is the downside for your belief? The downside is living a lie and being good for the wrong reasons. I am good to others, not because I am seeking some grand reward in a make believe afterlife place. I am being good so that I feel good about the human being I am and so that hopefully kindness will be returned to me when I need it. I will not waste my time giving my energies, time, money, etc. to these human made fake establishments that sometimes take advantage of us and our kindness. Can’t you see these organizations have the perfect set-up. The key to them is telling you to base everything on “faith,” and everyone falls for it. If you dont’ have faith, then you are doing the work of the prince of lies. It’s the perfect business. They use fear to keep you hooked in. Fear can be a good thing, but when it controls your whole life, it is a bad thing. Your begging me to believe but with no basis or reason to believe other than fear tactics. As I have said before, I want to believe, but I can’t. Not without some real proof that I can believe in. And I don’t see how that is too much to ask for. I don’t see how it is evil to want to believe and to want to see a tiny bit of proof. I think you mean well, and appreciate your efforts. Thanks.

Who is scaring whom? We are good because God wants us to be good because He loves us and we love Him.

Millions of people since before Christ have acknowledged God and had belief. Now, eons later, you think you’re the sole person that figured it out?

Theologians, Saints, Popes, they’re all just con artists and daft,

You’re not wishful. It’s vanity of mankind that keep sin going.
We people like to think we’re self-sufficient, we don’t “need” anyone.
it’s just not so. Mankind is meant to live in community.
That the community prays is not a negative thing.
Crooks are everywhere, right? Sure. So just leave your doors open because you’re going to get ripped off anyway.
No, you take wise precautions. Christians guard their souls. I don’t need to concern myself with the evil other people do. I just have to avoid it for myself, because it will harm me, even if I have no belief.
But having belief gives one strength. It’s easy to believe in God if one is humble. Don’t wait for this a personal tragedy to humble you. Humble yourself, and begin that relationship with Christ.
Look at a crucifix. He has his arms open to embrace you.

Quit living a lie! Just admit you don’t believe and continue to do good works anyway. If you need proof of God, then get face down on the floor and ask God for proof. Then get up and go about your life doing good, and quit worrying about it. If God wants you to know, He will give you a message.

Our only admonition to you is to (please!) don’t use occult tools like Ouija boards or spiritual mediums to try to contact “something.” THAT is just begging for trouble.
 
I feel for you. You want proof, on your terms (that would be human standards of cause and effect- something you can point to and say “there”!

Unfortunately, our religion is based on belief which requires no proof. Does prayer make you “feel better”? For me it does, therefore I believe! Do my prayers always get clear answers I can understand? No! But I accept that. Is it logical? Not in the sense that science would accept (and i am a trained science teacher…) But I have come go grips with it and accept I must live with belief without proof. And I am at peace.

You could say human nature is to question our existance, so we can’t help but question God and the Saints. As far as just talking to ‘good’ spirits, I really don’t think you can be sure, if one answers, it may be malevolent and lying. I hope your quest can bring you some sort of peace, but I doubt you will find a definitive answer.
