And here is something even nuttier… I find RC churches to be more “holy” than Anglican ones. Unless the church is deeply Anglo-Catholic, I find it difficult to “feel” the presence of God. I miss holy water fonts, stations of the cross, devotions, incense, genuflecting, etc. There is lots I miss, including the RC identity. I think Protestants, by and large, lack a sense of belonging to a body that is much larger than the local. Roman Catholicism is global.
