Is there the chance that children can go to Hell?

As the OP, I think it is very serious issue. I too had a child die which is why I asked the question. For me it was over 10 years ago and I think I am finally at peace. Also I don’t want you to think that our banter is in anyway trying to diminish the topic.

We are just having fun in the afternoon sun.

You are very entitled to your opinion Zundrah but as i have said The Catholic Churches view is as I have stated they do NOT go to hell.I am also shocked and cannot believe your cruel attitude
“Argh,no doom and gloom!” I sincerely hope you never have to suffer the most awful pain of having your child die.I have had two die.My babies died 27yrs ago and 29yr ago.The pain is the same as if if happened yesterday.To make light of such is very hurtful not just to me personally but to all those who have lost children.I thought you were such a lovely sweet person.

Xavier I am so very sorry for you loss of your child.I am not offended by you in the slightest and God bless you.

Go see a priest and learn some teachings of the church for yourself.
As for am I angry? Was that your intention?
To hurt someone who has been your friend?
I am not angry Zundrah i am very hurt very upest and completely at a loss as to understand you.

I’m not being sarcastic, or rude. That was a real question. I for one am totaly confident that kids can and do go to hell! Is that sick, evil and wrong of me to think?

Not to put you on the spot, but I am glad you switched to deist. I was having a hard time with the agnostic/absolute monotheist. On the sliding scale I could imagine where it fell, but, I think this is better.

No problem. Agnostic often gets lumped in with Atheist and I have never been that.

Since 9/11, I have taken a serious look at religion, particulalry the Roman one I was born into, and I had to reconstruct from a “zero” point, as it were, so Agnostic seemed apt.

However, over time, it remained clear that my utter rational belief in God as the Unmoved Mover was not going to change. Thus over time, as I further define my relationship with God, one not necessarily filtered by the Church, I can better replace Agnostic with Deist! 👍

Zandra is conditionally correct in her expression of the teachiong of the Catholic Church. Please see POST # 165 on this string for details.
The issue is “age of reason” or not.***

I cannot immagine you’re pain.
