Hmmm…well, sometimes people say all kinds of things when they are emotional and upset with a loved one. Now, if she finds a way to contact her ex…starts having email exchanges, lunches, and meetings with him…then that’s a whole other story. I would turn the tables on her, and ask her if she’d like it if her husband were to utter something like that to one of his friends…hmm, she probably wouldn’t like it. I think you are right, if she keeps dwelling on her past…her ex bf…and seeks the ex bf out to start something up again…yes, this marriage is headed for a bad place. But, let’s hope for the best, that she was just angry…and as her friend…encourage her to pray. Whenever my friends are upset about their marriage, life, had a fight with their mom, or work issues…I always suggest for them to pray. I have an atheist friend who laughes when I tell her that but she has begun praying.

Praying is contagious, and when we’re talking to God about our problems, He will never give us a sinful answer to our problems. So…suggest that to her, and pray for her, also. I hope things work out!
