There is a book on amazon.com by David E. Taylor about “Face to Face appearances of Jesus Christ”, that promises everyone who reads the book will see Jesus Christ.

Does the preacher or book contradict the catholic faith?

He is a complete fraud and charlatan!

Where I am right now I can’t connect to YouTube, but when I get home I’ll post several snippets of a video deposition he was in where he talks about

• his multimillion dollar mansion.
• the thousands of dollars he spends on clothes each year (from places like Gucci and Louis Vitton) because he has to look nice on TV.
• how he spent money at a place called Limo Land to turn two luxury cars into limousines.
• telling people that want to give him money for donations to contact his ministry, but then claims those donations on his tax returns.
• telling people that he has sacrificed millions of dollars because he could have been a millionaire chef (i.e. he went to cooking school at one point)
• claiming multiple people on his taxes as dependents, yet not recognizing their names when asked about them.
• losing custody of his daughter because he hit her with a belt.

He is just a scummy person. The videos are short and I’ll link to them later tonight.

Sadly, I think Mike from NJ is pretty much on the money here.

He makes outrageous claims of having “raised the dead”, which even the Catholic Church knows need to be strictly verified and validated.

He has also made the news for financial irregularities which can easily be checked with a Google search.

He has also made false prophecies about a “new dawn” in America in 2010.

Put him on your ignore list.

Not intending to belabor the point, but if he is non-Catholic, you are absolutely guaranteed that he teaches some degree of error - probably profound error. A good rule of thumb for all websites, books, lectures, etc.

He talks about why one of his daughters doesn’t live with him because she hit her with a belt for missing school. He claims to not know anything as to the nature of the legal proceedings. (Total length 3 minutes 15 seconds).

He explains the logic of his ministry owning a Mercedes, a BMW, and a Bentley. He doesn’t drive them, but has a driver to do that. They also spent $50,000 to cut the Mercedes into a limo.(Total length 4 minutes 32 seconds)

He lists why he spent $30,000 of ministry money on Louis Vitton, Gucci, Versace and such in 2013 and 2014, (Total length 5 minutes 17 seconds).
Attorney: You don’t see that there’s any problem when you’re ministering to the poor, the sick, the needy to be appearing in Louis Vitton and Versace?

Attorney: I don’t see Macy’s.
Taylor: Macy’s don’t have the kind of suits I wear.

See a picture of his $2.8 million home that he’s leasing to buy. (Total length 4 minutes 31 seconds)

He makes a claim of sacrificing millions of dollars. Also he demonstrates how he double-dips by claiming tax deductions on someone else’s donations. (Total length 5 minutes 59 seconds)

He gave a tax form claiming someone as a dependent whose name he doesn’t recognize. (Total length 5 minutes 29 seconds).

He admits he used ministry money (which comes from donation) for both Disneyworld and Disneyland locations for his staff and his children. He doesn’t report this as income. (Total length 4 minutes 10 seconds)

This isn’t part of the deposition, but here’s a video where he claimed a prophecy that the Broncos would beat the Seahawks in that year’s then upcoming Super Bowl.
It was a humiliating defeat for the Broncos.
In Deuteronomy it says that if a prophet has even one false prophecy than he is not of God.

There are two 1 star reviews on amazon of people who read his book (which promises readers will see Jesus), saying that they saw a false evil spirit pretending to be Jesus.

Never heard of this guy, but I suggest that anyone who wants to see Jesus go to Eucharistic Adoration.
