I deal with scrupulosity so sometimes I worry if I’ve consented to a sin, etc.
But recently, I did a sin that was definitely mortal
it was done deliberately, with TOTAL free will, knowledge, and even awareness of God trying to help me avoid the sin. I repented of it but I can’t describe how painful it was after the sin. I am so glad and grateful that God gave me repentance, because I don’t deserve it at all.
He is so merciful to us.
But I don’t understand, is this a mortal sin, or is it even *worse *than that? because I have honestly never felt so horrible in my life, and I knew how greatly I offended God.
is something so willful, so deliberate, - forgiveable?
well this would always be a reminder to avoid sin
