I don’t think there is anything wrong with the game. I don’t think the game is some gateway to the occult. But I think the comparison to the Dodge Ram logo is naive. Clearly the designer drew inspiration from very common imagery associated with Baphomet. This doesn’t mean the game is satanic. It doesn’t mean the villains are even occultists themselves. But villainous groups in games, books, and movies, or “bad boy” (can’t believe I wrote that) in real life, use this type of “dangerous” imagery to make them look “badder.” They might not be occultists, or worshipping demons, or magical, of course, but they intend to associate themselves with that type of badness, and that just seems to obviously be the case here. Even if there was no thought of Baphomet, the group is intending to get that sinister imagery (and it has sinister connotations precisely because that type of design is associated with sinister things, like the occult). The demonic goat head is a pervasive image in western culture (not that it’s everywhere, but in any story about the demonic or occult it’s there, not that Titan fall is about the demonic or the occult itself).
That doesn’t mean the game is satanic, or endorsing Baphomet, or anything like that. I think the decal is no reason to question the game. You can have stories where this type of stuff is there but not endorsed.
The complete dismissal that the designer could be drawing on certain connotations the image has in western culture just seems to be a defensive overreaction.
