The Republic’s satanic decision will put even more pressure on the North.

What she really meant was hope for Northern Ireland to sacrifice more children to Moloch and Mammon. And not surprisingly, a Tory.

I am Pro-life, but I have Pro-choice friends/family. To Pro-choice advocates abortion is not about children or the sanctity of human life. It’s about whether or not a woman has autonomy over her body. They object to the church or state determining when and if a woman gives birth to a child. They don’t feel that a woman must carry a child to term because she is pregnant. Pro-choice advocates interpret the Pro-life position as one where women are forced to be incubators. They view the unborn child as a type of parasite or unwelcome intruder. This is why arguments about the humanity of the child, or attempts to educate about fetal development inevitably fail. It’s not about children with Pro-choice advocates. Until the Pro-Life movement comes to term with the philosophical underpinnings of Pro-choice activism it will continue to suffer defeats.

They do say this. But it is easily refuted or shown to be bad thinking. The woman, almost always, chose to have sex. When that choice was made a natural consequence followed. The child isn’t an unwelcome intruder. It was invited in by the choice of having sex. Of course this is the root of the problem. Free sex demands abortion.

However they view it the abortion will kill a child. That isn’t in dispute. It is funny because most of these same people would do anything to protect the most inconsequential animal life. They also are generally socialists who insist society has a duty to care for everyone, yet the mother of a child can kill it if it is a burden.

The arguments are all on the side of protecting life. The people who are pro abortion are so despite the best arguments being for protecting life. I’m not saying they can’t be reasoned with. But I am saying that reason alone won’t sway someone bent toward evil.

Pro-choice advocates believe that, like men women should be able to enjoy sex without consequences. They regard the argument about responsibility before sex as punishing women for enjoying their sexuality. They separate sex from babies. There’s a deep resentment that women can become pregnant. I took a feminist theory course in college. I strongly encourage Pro-life advocates to read Germaine Greer, Camille Paglia, Betty Friedman, Simone de Beauvoir, Naomi Wolf, Andrea Dworkin, etc

But men don’t enjoy sex without consequences. If the same advocates really believed their argument they’d do away with making men pay child support.

Clarification: The physical consequence of becoming pregnant.

The consequences are not even closed to balanced.
If men s often kept the children, had to litigate as often for support, and had to deal with the same problems of balancing child care and securing income, then the consequences would be balanced.

I can’t believe the sight I’m seeing in the coverage of Ireland of people actually seem to be celebrating this vote:
Yes. There are huge crowds in (Catholic ?) Ireland cheering and celebrating the pro-abortion vote. Although abortion on demand is legal in many Catholic countries, it is generally illegal in the Muslim country of Saudi Arabia, which allows it only under a narrow exception such as if the abortion will save the woman’s life or preserve her physical or mental health. Abortion is also illegal in Syria, but the Americans have been trying to overthrown Assad and install a more liberal government.

If only those opposed to President Trump would behave in this manner👍

And the same can be said of all the Birthers who attacked Obama.

On a small Island, a great ppl, fell out of the arms of God’s Love. God is more powerful than Satan. But, God wants His church to rise up against the evil. We are, also, more worldly, and have placed the gauntlet down. Repentance.
Give us Your Wisdom, Father. Send us Your strength. In Jesus name
Amen

“It is among these 734,300 people that the hope of the Catholic Church in Ireland’s resurrection is active and alive.”
As Pope Benedict XVI stated, the Church will be smaller, but more pure. God will always preserve a remnant.

I hope so, I read a comment online earlier were someone said God hates Ireland now and it honestly upset me, I think it is the Irish people who have turned on God.

All the powerful Saints while on this earth stood up fearless and courageously teaching the Catholic faith, we need them now in this world we live in…for now Satan thinks he is winning but God will not take much more and he knows it. We must never give up hope because that is what Satan wants, keep praying our Lady said “In the end my immaculate heart will triumph”.

So there’s no sense here that the Church’s own sins have turned many away?

It’s a problem when people see a “win” when there obviously isn’t any.

Stupid question.
  1. Does the healthcare system in Ireland cover elective procedures?
  2. Are abortions going to be “elective”?
IOW, will all Irish people fund these procedures?
