“I swear by the name of the Most High God that as of the writing of this message I’m still a Muslim and practising all Islamic obligations and living in Saudi Arabia, and there is no missionary or any one supporting me of any sort”.
And if you want to meet me here in Saudi Arabia, you are most welcome, I think its not difficult to obtain an Umrah Visa from US, I can meet you in the holiest Islamic city (Mecca).

However, don’t you think that my flesh part is massively resisting Christianity, I haven’t thought of Christianity or changing my religion all my life, I have a good stable life & decent Job here in Saudi Arabia, why I would change that !!!, but Jesus love has entered my heart.

My family members are all Muslims and practising all Islamic obligations, even my mother and sister are wearing the black Burque and wearing black gloves and black glasses (100% covered), how I’m going to address them with my new religion, do you think they would accept it easily, initially I think they will kick me out of the house and my mother would curse me, and you know what the cause of the mother in Islam means…

I’ve lived all my live here in Saudi Arabia, there are all sorts of discrimination, hate, and anger between people here, everyone treats you according to your tribe, where is Islam here, where is Islam in UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, India, Pakistan, …etc.

Recently in Muharram month (in Islamic lunar calendar), we had to fast the 10th of it, which called “Day of Ashura” I think you know it, however, as Suni in Saudi Arabia they won’t tell us more about Shia, however, one of the Shia TV was showing documentary story of “Battle of Karbala”, and really I was shocked to find all this bloodiness in that battle, where at the end the head of Alhusain was put on a spear and carried around from Iraq till Syria passing by seven cities showing the head, that story wasn’t said in our Suni books, its only from Shia.
My point is all the history of Islam and all current Islam is full of bloodiness, watch daily news, where are the hate, murders, and wars coming from, why why why, while in the Bible(NT) there is only love…

I didn’t understand that till I knew Jesus words:

Since you are a converted Christan, why you don’t tell me your story in deep details, why you have converted, what things you liked in Islam, what is your job, do you speak and understand Arabic, convince me that Islam is the right religion, but please give me a reasonable answers, don’t tell me because Quran & Hadith said so and so (I know them already).

KSA is a monarchy, not a theocracy. But I went to a Christian private school growing up, which might as well have been a theocracy. And my dad taught Sunday school! I did Awanas for years, learned lots of Bible verses. I think it’s possible that I learned more about Christianity than he learned about Islam. Lining up shoulder to shoulder, foot to foot, brothers and sisters in Islam, united. That’s where Islam is.

You can’t take the NT without the OT, you know. The God of the OT is the same as of the NT according to Christians, meaning if you accept the NT then you accept the OT. Maybe you should spend some more time reading OT.

I love how the teachings of Jesus are just like Islam. Some of my Muslimah friends who were also Christian have a similar view. For us, Jesus’s words point only to Islam. His teachings about prayer, and charity–same as in Islam.

Abaya is the dress which covers the body of the women, the Burque is one which covers the head & the face completely and only they eyes will be visible, in Saudi Arabia you can wear both, or only Abaya and something to cover the head without the face “called Mandeel”.

I’m not an expert or anything, but you might want to read up on Tawheed Al-Uloohiyyah if you still think you’re Muslim.

Islam believes in ‘Tawheed’ which is not merely monotheism i.e. belief in one God, but much more. Tawheed literally means ‘unification’ i.e. ‘asserting oneness’ and is derived from the Arabic verb ‘Wahhada’ which means TO UNITE, UNIFY or CONSOLIDATE

Pray tell Amy, when the unite the Tinity of Rububiyyah, Uluhiyyah and Asma’ and Sifat, are you associating partner to Allah or are you talking/explaining about the same Allah?

A) Oneness of the Lordship of Allah; Tauhid-al-Rububiyyah: To believe there is only one Lord for all the universe, Who is the Creator, Organizer, Planner, Sustainer, and the Giver of security, etc., and that is Allah.

B) Oneness of the worship of Allah; Tauhid-Uluhiyyah: To believe that none has the right to be worshiped (e.g., praying, invoking, asking for help from the unseen, swearing, offering sacrifice, giving charity, fasting, pilgrimage) but Allah.

C)Oneness of the Names and Qualities of Allah: Tauhid Al-Asma’ was-Sifat: To believe that:

None can be named or qualified with the Names and Qualifications of Allah; e.g. Al-Karim…

What does this have to do with believing that Allah, His Word and His Spirit are one Allah? what is Trinity beside Tauhid Allah, His Word and His Spirit?

I agree, reading the news every now and then, I always see people convert to Islam from Christianity either to marry more than one wife, or to divorce his wife, or have been told false information such as the earth is egg shaped, here is one YouTube video about a Christian women whom converted to Islam just because someone told her that the earth is egg shaped and there are seven layers of atmosphere mentioned in Quran, I really don’t know who told her so, there is no mentioning of any atmosphere on Quran, what Quran is saying that there are seven skies, how that became atmospheres!, and even if she means skies, did anyone verified that there are actually 7 skies !!!, and for the claim that the earth is egg shaped!, actually there isn’t a single Arabic word in Quran claiming that, the Arabic words in Quran about the earth exactly tells that the earth is flat and have spread out like a carpet, (Quran 15:19), (Quran 13:03), (Quran 79:30).

It forces to worship together. Deep down, they ain’t give a rat about each other. I’d heard Saudis calling the poor Indians and Pakistanis “dumb and stupid” like a thousand times when I was in the kingdom. In Eastern Province, Shiite Muslims get discriminated everyday. I concur with what you have said. Saudis usually go to Bahrain on weekend and party like it’s 1999. I’d been to Bahrain numerous times and that’s what I saw. Saudis drink, do prostitution, etc. And Saudis female drive like they ain’t never been driving when they are in Bahrain. I almost got into an accident with them couple times. I am not mad at them. They do need some R and R.

inJesus, the very basic principle is that Jesus and Allah are not the same. So any prayer which is directed to Jesus, any love which is for Jesus instead of for Allah violates Tawheed al-Uloohiyyah.
