In the Bible it says that there is only one god, not to worship false gods, and not to make graven images.
I have a lot of trouble understanding the trinity. It seems like polytheism. There is only one God, but there is more than one person who are individuals, which people worship as different people with different roles. Jesus talks a lot about giving worship to the Father and that he is given everything by the Father as though he were not actually equal to Him or the same thing. I know that the book of John has a lot if material equaling the two, but the other gospels don’t. I also can’t find where it says the Holy Spirit is God or is equal to God.
Edit: Trying to become Christian, however this confuses me.
