I tried Gyms before and even a type of Yoga to keep myself in shape. To be honest, I got really bored looking at a mat, or a wall – even a treadmill activated television for hours on end. Just really boring. Then, I discovered Airsoft.

When people are shooting at you, you have a reason to run. You get great exercise, and while yes, it does cost a lot more money in gear – you get more out of it and there’s no chanting involved.

I lost 35 pounds and got skinny again thanks to Airsoft. Best part of all, I LOVE IT and it’s not repetitive; the sport is full of surprises and you make plenty of friends.

You also learn a bunch of useless skills that would surprise a SWAT team after playing with Private Military, Private Security, and LEO. Don’t just go to any Airsoft field, find a training facility. Just a suggestion. I love it personally, and I lost all my weight doing it. Secretly, I do it for the exercise. I just don’t tell those guys that. Oh, there are girls there, too. My significant other included… It’s a mixed gender sport.

OK I had no idea what Airsoft is, so I googled it and watch some on YouTube.

Am I right in assuming this is the replacement for paintball?

Does the gun shoot and actual pellet?

How do you confirm a kill ?

I know, off tract, so you can PM me if you wish or give me a info link.

Yoga is really a true danger for a Catholic!!! An Indian Catholic priest, fr. James Manjackal, MSFS explain why in his article “Yoga in philosophy and practice is incompatible with Christianity” jmanjackal.net/eng/engyoga.htm

You can read there many other articles about this issue all of them showing the huge risks of practising Yoga!

Did you know that the postures (asanas) are all destinated to praise an Hindu deity? etc etc…

Yoga will open your chakras and activate your pineal gland. Be careful because this is when your true connection with God will happen and your life will become joyous. It might be too much for you to handle, to live the life that you’re supposed to instead of being blinded by fearful Catholic teachings.
Enjoy your life and do God’s TRUE work! Go yoga!
Nooo!!! Yoga is the connection with evil spirits!!! Please leave it!!! jmanjackal.net/eng/engyoga.htm

No one can praise a Hindu deity without intending to praise a Hindu deity. Even if one holds his arms in a particular position that is associated with praising a particular deity, it cannot be praise unless one has the intention to do so.

You undervalue the power of the spirits when you participate in an spiritual experience. I know the opposite case. Just an hindu who was to accompany to a an old lady to Holy Adoration. It was one hour at night for 6 months, twice a week. Just contemplating the Holy Eucharist he become converted!
Asanas are postures of adoration and praising to evil spirits. Without knowing it you are invoking and calling them! It’s the same when you particate in an Ouija session, you are also invoking bad spirits just playing a game. Please, when you open your spiritual door, you cannot control who is entering!!!

Friend, this is superstition. This is giving power to an inanimate thing, and, as such, is condemned by our Church.

It appears to be magical thinking that you are espousing–as if putting one’s legs and one’s arms in a particular position has power over the spirit world.

No.

That is superstition.

I’m not trying to be argumentive, but if intent is all that matters…

Is it okay for a person to play with tarot cards?

No, it is not okay to play with tarot cards, because one’s intent is to gain power or insight through consulting with spirits.

How would you know that is their intention though? To some people it’s no different than playing with a Magic 8 Ball.

👍

Seriously, folks, one of the yoga poses is to lay flat on your back, arms at your side. If that’s “praising a Hindu deity,” there are a lot of people praising Hindu deities in their sleep.

When you twist your spine with the asanas you are stimulating the chackras, the hindu centers of energy, the supposed psychic centers of human personality and power. Have you ever seen how a senior Kundalini yoga practitioner can move? you can crawl as a serpent! It is a pity as they remove the most incredible video I’ve ever seen but here you have another one: youtube.com/watch?v=PzdVzgFkhjM or youtube.com/watch?v=fyjHsaOmunE

This is not magic! They are altering your mind!!! Please read to Father James Manjackal!!! jmanjackal.net/eng/engyoga.htm You needn’t to eyaculate with your spine! Do not forget the goal is to awake the serpent you have inside!

Be aware that yoga means "union"and that the practice of yoga unites body, breath, and mind, lower and higher energy centers and, ultimately, self and God, or higher Self.

If you practise yoga, and you like it, it is quite possible you decide to “improve”, and then the Hindu door is opened! Yoga is the prayer with your body!

If it’s no different than playing a Magic 8 ball, then knock yourself out. I don’t have a problem with that, if it’s like rolling dice and saying, “I need a lucky 7 to win!”

Was this adoration done in a Catholic Church? If so, you analogy with doing exercises fails. You are comparing an exercise done with no intent to practice Hinduism outside of a holy place, with an Adoration (i.e., spiritual exercise with intent) performed in a Holy place. Your analogy would only be correct is the Yoga practitioner was performing yoga exercises with intent to practice Hinduism in a Hindu holy place.

If you truly believe this, then you MAY NOT place your hands together in prayer position. That not only is a Hindu prayer position, but also one in various other non-Christian religions. To state otherwise means that intent can be separate from the exercise, something which you are claiming is false.

I am unsure what you are saying here.

Are you of the belief that there are such things as “centers of energy”?

That is not consonant with Catholicism.

It’s like saying, “Zeus can control my thoughts!”

There is no such person/god as Zeus.

Similarly, there is no such thing as a “center of energy”. At least, if you are a believer in what Catholicism preaches.

So are you saying that there really are “centers of energy” in your belief system?

This is what Hinduism, Budism and New Agers etc claims! This is occultism! It’s clear that this “energy” or power exists, but it comes from the occult, from the nether world. This is something that a Chirstian can never accept! (Rom 6:13) Yoguis try to channel such occult powers!!

So, since there is NO SUCH THING as “centers of energy”, according to the Catholic Faith, how can one stimulate such a thing that doesn’t exist?

So therefore, are you saying that playing with tarot cards are only wrong for some people, and not others? Does that go with anything that can be deemed “sinful”?

So, to be clear, are you saying that playing with tarot cards is wrong for some people, but okay for others? Playing with Ouija boards and tarot cards is fine if you view them as harmless?

No.

I am saying that if you are engaging in those activities with the intent of getting knowledge from spirits, then it is very very harmful.

If you are simply turning cards over and seeing what comes up, with the idea that this is all pretend, then go for it.
