Here are some of the questions I have regarding the spread of Islam in Europe.

Why are people in the west so critical of Europe’s inability to integrate people from the Arab world? .

Why should a European country have to accept them? Arabs do not allow the same freedom in their own countries for Christians.

What about the right of a country to protect its own culture?

I honestly don’t think this is going to have a peaceful outcome.

This is the kind of situation that created the holocaust. Europe felt threatened by the Jews. The same is starting to happen again, only this time it is the Arabs.

Speaking for myself, I’m critical because I don’t believe in ethnic nationalism. I favor the ideal of the American model, nationalism based on democratic pluralism, not race or creed (yes, the US often falls short, but it’s a worthy ideal to strive for).

The US has been enriched by opening its doors to immigration. Immigrants have made us who we are. I’d like to see nationhood go more toward this model than on some racially-defined idea of “German” or “French.”

I guess I just don’t understand why everyone is trying to ram cultural integration on Europe.

I think people form other cultures should respect the racial owners of countries in Europe. Who are they to infringe upon the cultures of other nations?

That is the main problem.

You would have a hard time explaining to someone who is French 100 years from now why they no longer have a country of their own while those from other nations still do.

Here’s the thing: Quite a few, refuse to integrate - So, what? Let’s force them?

You can see the problems France has with its eight million Muslim immigrants, compared to Ireland, which has nineteen thousand, and absolutely no problems.

In small numbers they integrate better (Albeit, they still refuse to integrate fully, and recently we had to shut down an Islamic Primary School as they refused to teach the proper curriculum, they tought the Qur’an non stop instead), while in France, they’ve formed “Muslim Areas” and “Muslim Gangs”.

I feel sorry for the French, but what the Irish government doesn’t realise, is that in the long-run, if we don’t perfect the “art” of integration, we’ll be heading in the same direction - And, of course, with objections from Social Liberals, Social Democrats and Socialists, and the opposition to integration by the Conservatives and Nationalists - We won’t ever get anywhere, and we will be doomed to live in integration/immigration purgetory until we finally realise by the year 2100, Ireland will have become an Islamic state.

People don’t realise that:
  1. Immigration IS needed. (In the case of Ireland)
  2. Integration is important.
  3. Integration should be more, but not 100%: Immigrant – Integration into – Host country, not Host Country – Changes Culture for – Immigrant, but more of a common ground, whereby the culture is only slightly affected, and the newcomers conform to the culture of the host country.

God willing - I’d love to be around in 100 years discussing culture and philosophy 🙂

I’m not sure what you mean by a “nation of their own” though.

The islamic chapter, can produce many things in Europe, the most desirable thing, the rediscovering of the christianism in Europe, because the religious competence is healthy and estimulant, and atheism is falling, although agnosticism is climbing, islam want to change completely the european culture and can do that.
But if the people refuse to come back to christianism and make them more atheists, there will be a shock and possibly the muslims will die, if the goverments want that atheism and agnosticism prevail or winning the muslims, with a islamic era in Europe.
In US thanks to evangelists and some catholics, these problems don´t exist, but don´t sleep because the low birth rate is a tendence very spreaded in the world.

The “racial owners” what nonsense is that? Are Native Americans the “racial owners” of the USA? Are Palestinians the “racial owners” of Israel? Are aborigines the “racial owners” of Australia?

Europe has always had huge population influxes. England used to describe its people as Anglo-Saxon. The Saxons were German invaders who mixed with the Angles an earlier wave of invaders who had driven the Celts out of England etc etc. There are no “racial owner” of Europe except for those who belong to the race of Gods children.
