**In those words of Persian poetry, if you replace the word “Makkah” by “Jerusalem” it will still aplly very well. Please see the revised words below:

Khar e Eisa Agar beh Jerusalem rawadd,
Choun Be aayad hunooz Khar baashad.**

Meaning: The donkey of Jesus, even if he (it) went to Jerusalem, when it will return, it will still be a donkey. (That means will not progress spiritually.)

So I believe that the donkey of Jesus was brought back and tied up at its same old post outside Jerusalem from where it was borrowed. And it was still a donkey, no more saintly, no more purified.

It is so famous that in Islamic world there is a poetic stanza: (in Persian).

Also more important is the donkey of the anti-christ. That was prophesied by the holy Prophet Muhammad. That when anti-christ will come, he will have a special donkey, very big donkey which will travel on land and sea. There will be a span of seventy feet between his two ears.

It will move with big speed and will carry many passengers, believers and non-believers. It will eat fire.

Of course these are symbolic matters only and it appears that we have already got the donkey of anti-christ amongst us now. Only one has to look out for that donkey

3. Discarding the apostasy law throughout the Islamic world, as faith is a personal matter**?**
4. Equating all religions in rights before the law, with none being regarded as superior to any**?**
5. Declaring the equality of all men and women and the profanity of none**?**
6. Establishing the equality all human beings, without religious or ethnic discrimination or differentiation**?**

This analysis of the Muslim cleric letter “A Common Word Between Us and You ” is long but it states that the letter is nothing more than a repeat of Mohammed’s call to Emperor Heraclius of Byzantium: submit to Islam or suffer the consequences. Other nearby rulers were sent similar “invitations”. It even uses the same terminology. Perhaps this is why the pope responded with “truth first”.

The Common Word is certainly not new. It is nothing more than a 21st Century version of the call to unity and peace which Muhammad issued to Byzantium before his death in the 7th Century – a call which has resounded again and again since that time throughout history, just before the Islamic forces moved in to make good militarily their claims to the right to rule politically by divine decree.

In 630AD Muhammad wrote to Heraclius, Emperor of Byzantium (the Hellenic Empire ruled from Constantinople), inviting him to aslim taslam or to “come to common terms”. Here, in one of the earliest surviving examples of the “common word” invitation we can see the written Arabic-English translation and a facsimile of the original document.

The translated text of Muhammad’s letter to Heraclius of Byzantium

In the name of Allah the compassionate and merciful, From Muhammad, messenger of Allah, to Mighty Heraclius of Byzantinium: peace on those who followed the guidance. Hereafter, I invite you with the invitation of Islam: aslim taslam; surrender and be safe. If you embrace Islam, Allah will double your portion, but if you refuse on you will be [committing] the sin of being Ariuseen (cultic). Sura 3:64 Say (O Muhammad): “O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians): Come to common terms, between us and you, that we worship none but Allah, and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allah. Then, if they turn away, say: ‘Bear witness that we are Muslims.’”

I await a Muslim poster to claim the translation into English doesn’t mean what it does in Arabic, due undoubtedly to its “poetic eloquence”.

The truth hurts, and pope said truth first, and it is true that Islam is false and Mohammed is false; and it’s easy to prove it.

First, Mohammed appeals to the Bible for verification of himself, and he later says the Bible is corrupt because men introduced so-called false doctrines into it [e.g., the Trinity, deity of Christ, etc.]. If that is so, then Mohammed is false and Islam is false because they later deny the proof they appeal to for their own validation. IOW, they are self-contradictory. So, why didn’t Mohammed simply do away with those doctrines he considered false and just use the rest? That is what Protestant dissenters did. Mohammed had instead to conjure up a contradictory mess that confused primitive tribes into following him so he could rule by fear of hellfire and damnation. In a modern age, he would be Elmer Gantry preaching in a Chautauqua tent, complete with the sex, and the addition of war and conquest.

Will Muslims recognize Mohammed for the glory-seeking, booty-taking, power-hungry warlord that he is, and that his doctrine is nothing more than a promise of a heavenly reward for a man to revert to his feral nature? No. He can’t be questioned, for to do so would also call down hellfire and damnation for the one asking. If that doesn’t throw up a red flag in your mind, then there is no hope of your escaping darkness.

Second, every time a Christian criticizes Islam, Muslims, in order to justify the Qur’anic doctrine in question [e.g., jihad], claim that the Bible teaches something similar [violence]. By doing this, Muslims think that they can justify the Qur’anic problem. To begin with, appealing to the Bible does absolutely nothing to support Islamic doctrine for several reasons: 1) if the problem is logical and/or theological, then appealing to the Bible doesn’t resolve the dilemma. It would prove only that both the Bible and the Qur’an are wrong and cannot, therefore, be revelations from God; and 2) the assertion that the Bible’s containing a similar problem provides validation for the Qur’an’s also teaching it presupposes on the part of Muslims that the Bible functions as a criterion determining truth and falsehood. This assumes that the Bible is a trustworthy document which can be used to demonstrate whether the Qur’an is correct. But if this is the case, then the Bible can also serve to falsify the Qur’an, which it definitely does since the two books are diametrically opposed to each other when it comes to the essentials of faith, i.e. God, Christ, salvation, etc.

Does this mean that the Muslims who use this approach will reject the Qur’an for contradicting God’s true Word? No. They simply dismiss the idea with an “Allah-confuses-whom-he-wills” or “Allah-does-as-he-pleases” excuse.
