** Now you are trapped.

**
You are the one who is trapped. You had no answer when I showed in another tread that Mohammed copied the Bible, both OT and NT to “prove” he was a prophet like those of the Bible.

You made the claim that Mohammed “did not take any support from BibleNT or OT”, so I asked
Then why does Islam claim to be an Abrahamic religion? Why are these verses in the Qur’an, verses that verify the OT prophets, among them Abraham, Moses, Noah, and Jesus?
Code:
Koran, p. 227, 20:132, 2nd Para.

And Mohammed claims to be the last in the line of these prophets. Why does he do this if he “did not take any support from BibleNT or OT”?
The rest of what you wrote is nonsense just like most of your posts. The fact is* that Mohammed was a warlord who realized he could get more booty with a smile, a kind word, and a sword than he could with just a smile and a kind word. No different from any other warlord.
You never answered because you are trapped, and ISLAM is False, Mohammed is false

“19 And God said to Abraham: Sara thy wife shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name Isaac, and I will establish my covenant with him for a perpetual covenant, and with his seed after him. 20 And as for Ismael I have also heard thee. Behold, I will bless him, and increase, and multiply him exceedingly: he shall beget twelve chiefs, and I will make him a great nation.”

“**and I will make him a great nation” refers **not to the uncivilized Arab nomads in pre-Islam Arabia…but after Islam , they became a great nation…

ISLAM is False, Mulhammad is false and is was started in about 600ad

** Now you are trapped. Nobody said that Makkah existed at the time of Abraham. There was nothing there when Ibraheem left his son Ishmael and wife beloved Hagar there in the wilderness. They were left ther with very little food and water

That placed later came to be known as makkah, the most important city of the world**.

**You are coming round slowly. Welcome and try to read the Old Testament carefully. Note the point that Sarai wanted the family of Hagar sent away. Sp think over where they were to be sent?

Also remember that Ibraheem had some othe rplace where he used to be most of the time. When sarai died, Ibraheem was not with her at that time. Why? Where was he? he was with his beloved family in Arabia at that time.

So spme one went there to inform Ibraheem about the death of sarai. So Ibraheem came to her place to mourn for sarai. That also proves that Ibraheem has another station too which was imporatant to him. That was the place which later became Makkah. he built a house of God there as he used to do at various places before, in kana’an**.

.

That is your idea. Makkah is much older than your Jerusalem. Please check up. Do you have any word about Bethelhem or Nazareth in your bible from the time of Ibraheem? Surely not.

** There was no civilisation even when Muhammad came. they were illitrate rude type of people, quite un-civil. What does that matter. they were trading far and wide. It ws the arabs who had taken joseph son of Jacob to Egypt when his brothers sold Joseph to the Nomads.**

There is no need to discuss with you any further. Paran is the area between Makkah and Madinah. Even now when the travellors travel in buses between Makkah and Madinah, the children sell flowers to the tourists. When tourists ask them “from where did you bring these flowers?” They reply “From the wilderness of Paran.”

That Paran youa re mentioning is wrong. It was a desert where the Jews were made to wander for forty years before entering the promised land. that was a punishment for them because they had refused to advance into the promised land as ordered by Moses.
So this is the way how you claim ur victory? What a great attitude. We really know how u operate, self service, one way claim and an attitude of cheerleader, cheering behind the fence something nonsensical, thinking that audience will be shifted to focus on ur baseless claim!!😛

so a great nation is a false promise from God ?
well if the greatness of the nation is associated with God’s covenant to bring salvation to the world, then it’s wrong. Any nation can claim their greatness and we can see the greatness of America, or China or any big countries, but it has nothing to do with the covenant God promised to Abraham through Ishaac.

  • And he (Ishmael ) shall dwell in the face of all his brethren (JPS) Gen 16-12
  • I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren (JPS)* Deut 18-18
the same word *אֲחֵיהֶם (their brethren) and אֶחָיו (his brethren) is used in both verses.

in the first verse, God says Ishmaelites are the brethren of Israelites and should dwell near them… the second verse, Moses says there will be a prophet from their brethren.

Again , how and when did the Ishamlites become a great nation ? (I will make him a great nation)

Yes, the covenant is mentioned in the Quran that it was with Issac…not Ishamel…but the promise of a great nation was fulfilled nevertheless

We Christians are from Isaac, as he like Jesus was put on the alter.

Islam is from Ishmael, as like the first son Adam, was sent away, but not forgotten.

Judiasim is from God’s Promise to Jacob, Israel, " Israel set out with all that was his. When he arrived at Beer-sheba, he offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac.
2
There God, speaking to Israel in a vision by night, called, “Jacob! Jacob!” “Here I am,” he answered.
3
1 Then he said: “I am God, the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for there I will make you a great nation.
4
Not only will I go down to Egypt with you; I will also bring you back here, after Joseph has closed your eyes.”

also Israel means to content with God, a good reflection on there Holy History.

as Islam does with the Bible, not believing all of it, I believe some of the Qur’an is from God.

I call it God’s Poetry.

How can I be Catholic and believe?

they take what Lord Jesus says more seriously than some Catholics: there whole economies are based on His teaching “do not borrow or lend”
“Neither a lender or borrower be”

Muhammed was a Christian as Lord Jesus was Jewish

and I believe Lord Jesus spoke of them as “in another pen”

and if you say only Christianity will be pure and allowed in to the new Jerusalem

how is it in Revelation that Jews will enter? (144,000)

peace

David

So what r u trying to say? One thing u said Muhammad is the prophet that God promised, another thing that covenant of salvation is through the line of Ishaac? then it’s obvious that Allah is confused, can’t make up his mind?😛

Anyway, taking the context of one chapter separated from the other chapter of a book to make another whole different conclusion will of course bring this confusion

Covenant , Yes …Salvation ? absolutely not …salvation is granted to all nations

Jews believe the Bible to be inspired to men… while we Muslims believe the Quran to be the verbatim word of God …
So you’ll quote “scribes” when you’re trying to prove Islam, but consider them to just be “scribes” when asked to find a quote from the OT or NT in the Koran?

Covenant , Yes …Salvation ? absolutely not …salvation is granted to all nations
then what Covenant did God refer to ? Of course salvation is granted to all nation that accepts the covenant. Do u think that one needs to be Jew or Arab for the salvation? 😃
