then it only meant that u have to accept other people’s religion like Budhism, Hinduism, Zoroaster and so on. They consider their guru as prophets. So, if they can’t accept Muhammad as their prophets, u have to accept that, because they believe they have their line of salvation as well. Don’t call them infidel. Alright?

U’re dragging this thread to something else then.
The focus is ur claim of the great nation of Arab. And btw, u haven’t addressed what B. Wolf asked u.

em the Magi are/were Zoroastrian, and are saints in OUR religion, so… what does that mean?

sorry I don’t understand what u wrote? Who is the Magi considered saint in our religion?
Anyway what I said is true, that no matter what religion some hold, we can’t call them infidel and kill them.

Islam is a religion of peace.

these guys killing people for what they believe, are just like things that have happened in our religion…

did you know that The Bride had fury against the Jews and persecuted them for over a hundred years? she had to learn to control her temper. Islam is there now, for us it was a thousand years ago, but for them it is just now, not to mention some factions during the last and previous centuries (extreme right wing Christians…KKK?)

The Gentiles invaded Iraq and killed a lot of there people…was that right?..but they (Muslims) think it’s Christians doing this…but it’s Gentiles looking for money and oil and wealth…death.

I don’t think Violence is a solution …it should be the last answer to a grave question…but the Gentiles don’t really stop to ask questions.

Edit: I don’t think the KKK are Catholic, BUT THEY believe their Christian just as these guys believe their Islamic.

also Gentiles are non believers Atheists or say they believe but cause war.

Well, as much as muslims want to view their religion as religion of peace, then the way it was spread by it’s first founders should have shown peace, but on the contrary no. The way Islam was spread was very much relied on swords.
I understand the history that some figures of the church tampered the Christian teaching. It still happens nowadays when Christians claim to be Christ’s followers but practice something else. But still the core of the teaching is the same that God is love, we have to love Him with all our hearts and mind, and to love our neighbor as to love our selves.
We don’t find the teachings that contradict that. That it takes time to process for the society of the West to apply what Christ taught as justice and equality and peace, I believe that it was also the works of the Christians realizing what was asked by God.

But even though Muslim as human being can of course be as kind as any other human being, and not all of them are killers, you can’t say that their teachings don’t indicate some cruelty over other people. I live in a society where Muslims is the majority, perhaps it’s the culture of Indonesian people to accept plurality, though, we’re always afraid that when it comes to religious differences, Christian would always be in an unequal party.

Well assuming that time will bring some enlightment towards muslims, also means assuming that they will discard some of their teachings. But u forget that muslim belief as what koran says that Islam will rule the earth. Then by that, I don’t know what would be the means.

yeah your right! I agree!

but even as Muhammed, fought with a sword so did King David. Both faced Impossible odds and won. Muhammed killed the Ishmaelites who where pagans opposing God’s Will.

but after that they lived in peace with Christians and Jews a like. It wasn’t until the Crusades that they saw us as enemy’s 4/500 years later, when a English King went to conquer Jerusalem for Christians. killing a lot of Muslims in the process…but even after that they still tried to be peaceful: when they recaptured Jerusalem (I think?) they still kept the Orthodox Bishop in Charge of the main Church, other peoples would have burnt the place down or converted it in to another building.

can I ask which country you are from? I still say fight the good fight for Catholicism, “Go out on every rooftop” and declare Jesus!, just in the west it’s harder because of Gentiles, also Christian who speak harshly without knowing Islam is from Christianity.

they think its some other God, or something to do with Hinduism. many here pretend to be Christians but actually don’t care.
but if your swamped with Muslims, use words and The Word to fight the good fight, defend every believer strengthen your brothers and sisters in faith and love.

ps “figures of the Church”…who? I’ve heard some rumours but I don’t believe them. We have the Holy Father, and The Lord is always sending saints to repeat the Message that He Loves us. 😃

I do know what Islam is, the last two years we had endless documentaries on the BBC about it, but this year nothing. it was the Gentiles promoting racial tolerance, but I got to find out more about there religion too.

they call Jesus Isa, they believe in the Beatitudes, and when Islam started most Chirstian thought to was a schisim. around 600ad.

anyway this is getting to confrontational I don’t want to fight anybody, I want peace “blessed are the peacemakers” 🙂 and understanding

See what has been posted to proof that the kind of Christian u believed Islam was started from, was waaay different than the real Christian.

Anyway, I can also quote verses that says you have to hold on the truth no matter what it costs.
