some Christians hate Islam & Muslims so much…unbelievable . They browse anti -Islamic sites , copy & paste & flood each threads with hate & lies .

So , I started this thread for them . Pl. Pl. those who hate us , come & submit your hateful posts here . Let other threads free from your hateful posts & let us discuss there with respect.
 
**It is the other way around. You got it wrong. Just watch any video about Islam in which they want America converted to Islam (which will never happen), they chant “death to America”, they train their children to hate and kill Americans. There are some Muslim countries who are killing Catholic priests, killing people who want to become Christian, bombing buildings in the name of Allah, etc… I could go on and on.

Islam is in a fight to the death with Christianity, and I am sure you are aware of it.**
 
I have no issue with Muslims per se. I have an issue with Islam and the lies that it teaches. I also have an issue with those who would force me to convert or pay a tax.

I’ll stop eating pork when you pry it from my cold, dead hands.

It is in India. And India is not a Muslim/Islamic country, BTW.

And as far Irish-British fight, both are Christians. What is their denomination BTW? Were they fighting for a candy/cake?

Tibetens who protest against Chinease regime are not Muslims.

The country that gave real hard time to all residents of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was not a Muslim.

Hang on a minute. You have obviously browsed our site.

Why should we post hatred for anyone on a Catholic site and why do you think we have permission to do so? Our God and Saviour Jesus told us to, “Love your enemies. Do good to those who hate you”. We have endured 2000 years of hatred. Do you think we are going to stop enduring now?

However, I think, no, I know that Islam is a false religion. I think it is a parody of Judeo-Christianity.

Why do you bring Mary into the post? Yes, we know you honour her but not in the way we do. A trick to make us look?

Mary was a Jew. She believed in the one true God, expected salvation as was promised by the prophets and was purified at the point of her conception in her mother’s womb from original sin. She was stainless and remains so. She is the Ark of the New Covenant. She bore Almighty God made Man in her body.

Please do not quote the Angel Gabriel to us. We know what he said. “Hail Mary, Full of Grace.” That was her name. She was created full of grace. The evangelist writes: Kecharitomene. This means full of grace. She wasn’t filled with grace after she said yes to the angel’s words. It implies that she was already full of grace. God had already graced Mary before the angel came to her.

Of course this is a Catholic doctrine and one that was taught in the early Church. The feast of the Immaculate Conception, celebrated on December 8, was established as a universal feast in 1476 by Pope Sixtus IV. defined as a dogma by Pope Pius IX in his constitution Ineffabilis Deus, on December 8, 1854

I speak as a Catholic and you won’t change our minds by posting your erroneous beliefs here.

Discussion is always good but it comes from at least 2 sides. If you quote the qu’ran and the hadith, expect us to quote the bible and the Church Fathers.

It is also in Turkey, Africa (although there are 800,000 converts to the Catholic faith in Africa alone every year), it is in the Middle East, etc…

This thread is so transparent any Tom, D i c k and Harry knows of your plight. To “educate” fellow Muslim forumers how Christians “behave” and “hate” Muslims - as how Muslims perceive us to be. We disagree with Islam because it continues to distort the Bible and Christianity. We do not hate Muslims. This is where Islam fails to understand. We have the right to correct a false teaching. Islam has no right to revise history and teach an outright lie about another’s religion.

Pick up a copy of your local newspaper to see which religious group dominates the headlines. Unless you’re in the Middle East of course. Do newspapers lie? Sure, sometimes. The question is, for how long?
 
I have no problem with individual Muslims. I count several among my friends, and they are the best people that you could ever hope to know! I love them as I love my Christian brothers and sisters.

Their religion is not for me, though. I believe that Jesus Christ is the LORD, not just a prophet, and I don’t want to follow a sixth century Arab-supremacist prophet of a revisionist religion that is only meant for those who will submit to Arab tribal customs. I am not one of those people.

Like it or not, regardless of the history that came after it, the Church (that is, Christ’s church, what was refered to by the term “Catholic” as early as the first century A.D.) predates Islam in every place where Islam now predominates. The Church is thoroughly African, Asian, and, yes, also Arab. There is no place where Christianity has not been established, even in the tiny local churches of Muslim-background Christians in the Maghreb, or the more solitary examples of people like the martyr Liban Ibrahim Hassan in Somalia. It is best to learn to live together as well as we can, because neither Christianity or Islam is ever going away, regardless of what the extremists in either religion might wish.

My problem with Islam: The religion brainwashes people and seems to put a veil over their faces so they don’t see the truth. I also have a problem with Muslims not showing any evidence for their claims - just using double standards, misconceptions of the Church’s teachings and history, and attacks on the credibility of the poster when presented with truthes and historical evidence.

I have no problem with Muslims themselves, however. 🙂

I wrote that sentence, though, because it is easy to forget that the believers of other faiths hold their faiths to be as true as we hold ours, and with just as much conviction. So I think we need to get away from the “Well, these people are JUST misled” viewpoint that I’ve seen here and elsewhere. It infantilizes Muslims (and they’re so much better at doing that themselves!), and trivializes their commitment to their principles in a way that is very unacceptable and rude (since we are certainly offended when they do the same to us). If the contradictions in the Quran were enough to make Muslims flee their religion en masse, then by now, fourteen centuries after Muhammad, no one would be Muslim! I think it is better to say to Muslims or other non-Christians: You have what you believe, and I have what I believe. I am giving you my reasons for believing as I do. You don’t have to accept them, but they are there for you to inquire about if you wish. This way at least if they continue to reject Christianity they are rejecting it as it actually is, rather than rejecting Islam’s strange distortion of it which is not Christianity at all.

This is not something that is limited to the Muslim world, either. There are many all over the West and elsewhere who have also reduced Christ to the role of “good guy” or “exemplar” while wavering or becoming uncomfortable when confronted with His divinity. This is not acceptable for people who call themselves “Christians”. It is a sign of a great, continuing need among the people of the world. It is dangerous to think that the work is finished just because most people in the world have heard the story of Christianity, when so many people know the message (or think they do) but do not know its meaning.

Are you serious? Its not Muslims we hate, its the religion we dislike. Its sort of like, hate the sin, not the sinner.
If anything, Christians are taught to love, not hate.
