Why aren’t muslims fighting to destroy AlQuaida?
Muslims want to rid any trace of foreign influence in Muslim countries in any way possible, and infiltrate Islamic values on foreign soil. Why should they (destroy Al-Qaeda), if they know Al-Qaeda is fighting a cause for Islam? A Muslim is a Muslim and no Muslim is ‘moderate’ in his/her views when it comes to Itijihad. Truth, to them is what is taught in the Qur’an.

“Say [O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)]: ‘O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), come to a word that is just between us and you, that we worship none but Allâh, and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allâh.’ Then, if they turn away, say: ‘Bear witness that we are Muslims.’ ” [3:64]

***“O people of the scripture, our messenger has come to you to proclaim for you many things you have concealed in the scripture, and to pardon many other transgressions you have committed. A beacon has come to you from GOD, and a profound scripture.” ******[5:15]

"Your real allies are GOD and His messenger, and the believers who observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), and give the obligatory charity (Zakat), and they bow down.**"[5:55]

***Al-Qaeda members take these words seriously and practice this also, and many ‘moderate’ Muslims know this. Besides, deceiving the unbeliever into thinking they disagree with Al-Qaeda’s agenda is an acceptable practice. Think Kitman and you’ll know what i mean.

Thank you angelos for admitting that Jesus will never come again in this world. He will only come on the day of Judgement. Our Quran also tell us the same thing that Jesus will be a witness on the day of judgement against those who said that they killed him. He will be a witness against them on the day of judgement. That means he is never coming back again before day of judgement… See Al-Quran Verse 4:159.
The Koran could not have ever been made, except to rip off and distort the Old and New Testaments.

Is it any wonder that one can find copies of things in the Koran which was written much later than the OT and NT Scriptures? Yet, this escapes those who blindly adhere to Islam, with its many distortions. Any good lie has to have some truth, or else it would be unbelievable… this is the case with Islam… a little truth stolen from Judaism and Christianity, with twists and lies added for the Islamists.

Mohammad was a false prophet… he was never foretold, and he performed no miracles. He just robbed, murdered, raped, and made a very convenient text for himself. People willingly followed such untruthfulness, because it made it seem like God had sent a prophet to the Ishmaelites, who did not receive God’s blessing, but had been sent away. He simply took preexisting teachings and distorted them for his benefit, and to sell politically and socially to the Arabs of the day… and which were adopted by later generations.

Please wake up, you Muslims… what you believe is mostly false!

Salaam/peace

may be ,it’s better to say , Jesus (p) will testify against Jews & Christians who denied & worshipped him. Jesus (p) as a servant of God won’t have any power to judge anyone.
**

Thanks for reminding me.

When I replied to Anglous that “Jesus will judge you (Jews and those Christians who in their minds are following him), not the Muslims.”**, I was actually answering him rhetorically in his Biblical terms that he is familiar with. And I know that the word “judge” was a very delicate word to use here because in the back of their (Christians) minds, Jesus is God and as such he can judge people.

But ofcourse ONLY ALLAAH (God Almighty) can/will judge people.

And yes, Jesus Son of Mary (PBUH), a Messenger of ALLAAH, will testify against those people who worshipped him and his mother, instead of worshipping/serving ALLAAH. (as per Surah 5 verses 116-117)

The below quote is from a Commentary of Holy Quran.
The Christians were not content merely with deifying Jesus and the Holy Spirit. They even turned Mary, the mother of Jesus, into a full-fledged object of worship. The Bible does not contain even the remotest suggestion that Mary was in any way either divine or superhuman.
During the first three centuries after the Messiah, such a concept was totally alien to Christian thinking. Towards the end of the third century of the Christian era, however, some theologians of Alexandria employed, for the first time, the expression ‘Mother of God’ in connection with Mary. Subsequently, belief in Mary’s divinity and the practice of Mariolatry began to spread among Christians. Even then, however, the Church was not prepared to accord official approval to this belief and denounced the Mariolaters as heretics.
It was not until the Council of Ephesus in 431 that the Church officially used the expression ‘Mother of God’ for Mary. The result was that Mariolatry began to spread fast within the Church itself, so much so that, by the time of the revelation of the Qur’an, Mary had become so important a deity that she obscured even the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. Statues of Mary adorned the cathedrals. She became the object of rites and worship. People addressed their prayers to her. She was regarded as the one who responded to people’s supplications, who heeded people’s grievances and complaints, who relieved them in distress, who provided support and succour to the helpless.
For a devout Christian there could be no greater source of comfort and inner strength than the belief that he enjoyed the support and patronage of the ‘Mother of God’.
In the preamble of his code, Justinian had declared Mary to be the defender and supporter of his empire, and his general, Marses, sought Mary’s guidance on the battlefield. Heraclius, a contemporary of the Prophet (peace be on him), had a picture of Mary on his standard and he was confident that by her grace the standard would never be lowered.
Several centuries later the Protestants argued strongly against Mariolatry during the movement which led to the Reformation. The Roman Catholic Church has, nevertheless, managed so far to cling to Mariolatry in one form or another.

**After reading all that is in red above from the site “tafheem”, I am surprised to know all that. The christians now deny that they ever worshipped Mary. But it appears that worship of Mary was in full swing just before the arrival of the last testament (the Quran).

It is understandable that when Quran arrived and questioned the godhead of Jesus and Mary and Trinity, the christians must have become afraid and unable to support even the Godhead of Jesus.

So they must have quickly got rid of Mary from the gods list and kept only Jesus there. But under severe pressure from the Unitarian faiths (Judaism and Islam) they had to come back to One God too. Now they are trapped in three and One God system. They stress more on the One God now and keep the other two gods within that One God. Thanks Analyser.**

I’m more frightened by the call to blind obedience than to the so-called call to bloodshed. For one, Islam, as far as I know, dose not ask Muslims to check their beliefs against history, unlike Catholicism, which asks Catholics to check everything they believe in against history, reality, logic, etc. In this way, Catholcism shows itself to be the truth, for the truth is not afraid of the truth. Islam dose not ask for such a checking, so it must be afraid of truth, and hence, must not be the truth. For second, blind obedience is a big red flag: It’s a sign of heresies, cults, and evil. Catholicism asks Catholics to only obey their spiritual leaders in good, not in evil, and if a leader demands of them evil, to correct the leader. Islam dose not ask of this: It requires blind obedience to the Prophet.

The “call to bloodshed” is, like so many so-called understandings of Islam, a false reading of the Koran. Just like the seventy-two virgins (it’s a mistranslation, actually). The call to bloodshed is not a call to kill at any time, as some will have to believe, but is based on the biblical understanding of self-defense. Remember, Mohammed got his beliefs mostly from Christians and Jews, so his call to bloodshed is based on the Christian and Jewish understanding of self-defense: If you have exhausted all manners of peace and find yourself at war, you have the right to defend yourself and your beliefs - be it bloody or unbloody. Now, this is not a perfect reflection of the Christian or Jewish understanding of self-defense, but it is a reflection nevertheless. Terrorists, of course, being terrorists, like to take things out of context and use it for evil, so they use the so-called “call to bloodshed” to justify their evil acts and silence those who object them.

It appears to you that Christians worshipped Mary because you are allured by your pagan prophet’s fantasies. (The same notion of illusion goes with your denial of Jesus’ crucifixion!). Neither you Muslims nor your pagan prophet had any historic evidence to prove such false allegations and accusations. Christianity never included Panaghia into the Trinity. The assertion in the Koran is a lie.

ROTFL. Your foolish and beseless assumptions make me laugh often, thanks dear planten. I am challenging you to prove that Christians changed their Trinitarian doctrine because of the faulty suppositions of a pagan of the desert! If you cannot prove this, I shall conclude that you are but a liar whose words should never be taken seriously.

I also have a question for you: If Christians allegedly removed Panaghia Mary from their Trinity due to their fear of a pagan man, why did they not do the same for Jesus??? Why did they not reject the Trinitarian doctrine altogether?

Why did they keep only Jesus there? What about the Holy Spirit? When did Christians supposedly tamper with the persons of the Triune God? How? Why? I am waiting for your evidence soon.

I wish you could study history and do some research to see that THREE HUNDRED YEARS before the birth of your prophet as a pagan in the desert, The Church of Christ issued the Nicene Creed to debunk the Arian heresy and strengthened faith in the Triune God as today (The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit)!

From this historical fact arises the question why Mohammad’s scribes made such a big mistake while referring to the basic Christian tenet of the Holy Trinity. Was this a mistake? NO! Those demonic scribes deliberately told lies about the Christian Trinity and concocted a false version of the Trinity based on sexuality in order to equate Christianity with paganism. Why? Because they had to tell lies and slander other faiths to present their man-made ideology as the only true religion from above and to support their presumption that Mohammad’s mission was necessary! What an unethical and filthy act indeed! Shame on those liars!

I find the whole idea of introducing a thread so that we can supposedly bash you to be unbelievably condescending. Catholics do not hate Muslims - we simply stand against the false religion. What is the point of such a thread? Seriously, I don’t get it. 🤷 All I sense from this is an attitude of looking down at those who disagree with you. It has never, ever entered my mind to join a Muslim group and then offer to let them “bash my religion” - I can’t fathom behaving in such a manner.

You say that this thread it to let people get all their “Muslim bashing” out on this thread and not let it get into the other threads. Are you expecting to come to Catholic forums and make converts to your religion? Are you hoping to confuse people?

You do not seem to be coming here to find out about Catholicism, but to preach your religion. And then you are surprised that people stand up to the false religion you present ? And no, that is not Muslim bashing, that is stating the facts. I’m sorry that you seem to see direct responses against your faith as bashing.

Platen is actually a heretical Muslim, so I’ve heard. But don’t believe me. Discernment is your best bet.

I find it very funny that Muslims never present any evidence - historical, cultural, spiritual, or otherwise - for what they claim about Christians, or at least what’s claimed about Christians in the Koran. It’s a blind obedience to the Koran and Mohammed, which is sad. Let us pray for the Muslims.

What you have heard about Planten is absolutely true. He is not an Orthodox Muslim since he is a follower of the Ahmadiyya movement, which is condemned as heretical by mainstream and traditional Islam.

Planten needs our prayers too. He hates Christ and His Gospel more than many other Muslim posters here, but less than Analyser.

Planten, the doctrine of the Trinity was formally defined in the Council of Nicaea in 325 A.D. after centuries of recorded discussion.

newadvent.org/cathen/11044a.htm

Matthew tells us “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”

carm.org/questions/baptise_name.htm

The oldest fragments of the gospels that we still have date from the second century or even ealier.

newsletters.cephasministry.com/papyrus6.99.html

John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.

newadvent.org/bible/joh001.htm

The oldest fragments of the Saint Johns Gospel is dated at about 1 generation after Saint John’s death.

kchanson.com/ANCDOCS/greek/johnpap.html

so the trinity and Jesus’ divinity was all done centuries before Islam came on the seen.

Where is the evidence of your assertions, other than a way to somehow try and justify the Koran in your own mind of its obvious mistakes ?

Recorded history, dated manuscripts and Christian cultural history speaks against your inventions. If you need to invent things to save the Koran, perhaps it is more intelligent to question the authority of the Koran ?

Unfortunately, this is how Muslims think of us when we challenge what the Qur’an teaches falsely about Christians and Christianity. I wonder if they ask themselves why Christians do not challenge the teachings of Buddha or any other religious texts on earth with equally great fervor. The answer is obvious.

I am reading these posts from Muslims with great sorrow. It’s to bad they cannot see anything beyond their violent worlds.
One day you will see the face of Christ (if your worthy enough), and you will know the truth then. The truth is actually here right now called a Bible. Try reading it.

**Everyone forgets 911! Why don’t you click on youtube and see the peace of Islam who want to blow your brains out. Then you can see how they are teaching their children to kill us with strap on bombs. Then you can see how they sing death to America. Death to Israel, death to Christians. Oh yea, they are peaceful alright. :nope: **

Hi Muslim Woman,

Can we agree what is in the listed here in correct and Islam accepts all of these events??

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Munich_massacre
Web site above covers in short the 1972 Summer Olympics games in Munich Germany. Yet we can even look as recently at September 11, 2001 and see the killing at a great level with the killing of some 3000 people in just one day.

You have a problem with web site below.
bible.ca/islam/islam-kills-muslims-celebrating-sept-11-2001.htm
If you click on watch video you will see on window media player

You have misunderstood what I’m asking, I asking about the video not what is written. Did you see the video and do you agree what is being seen in that CNN report on 9/11/01. Yes or No??

Just view me as Joe Friday the cop from TV show Dragnet. His line was just the facts miss… I’m trying to get take a stand and want yes or no do you support the terrorist view of taking over the world for Islam? This is a question.

Do you truly believe what is written below? Yes or No ?? I’m asking you this question so I can nail you down on what you believe. It not a poor translation for I seen so many different ones that it pretty much say that same thing. There is much much more that could be view as troubling statements in the Quran.
  1. The Table Spread (Al-Máída)
005.051 O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for friends. They are friends one to another. He among you who taketh them for friends is (one) of them. Lo! Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk.
islam.tc/quran/

I get the sense that Muslims wish not to reveal what they truly believe. I feel that what we see going on in this world is what the Quran truly teaches and that is hate for anything none Islamic. I had Muslim say read what some people someone has read. Yet actions speak louder then words.

I’m in the middle of reading an Orthodox Bible so that I can learn the word of GOD and the history that had taken place. If I were to read a so called Roman Catholic version in would read pretty much the same even differing in words yet reads the same.

Looking forward to hearing your statements not someone else.

Have a great day

I have a couple of questions if i may Muslim Woman.

i assume that you love God.
In your own words, could you please tell us why you love God ?

Second question is - do you think God loves you, and in your own words please tell us why you think God loves you.

Thankyou.

Hahaha. Christians who can’t eat or sleep without bashing Islam? Wow…that’s quite an ego you must have, Muslim Woman! Outside of this board and occasionally Arabic class (where we learn some Islamic greetings and other words, since Arabic is the language of Islam, since Muhammad’s Allah is an Arab), I spend about as much time thinking about Islam as I do thinking about Mormons, Zoroastrians, or Jains…that is, none at all. It is only because Islam is now seen (rightly or wrongly) as a security threat by much of the world that it is in such focus. That’s not a good thing, so I wouldn’t get too excited by it if I were you. If it were instead Hare Krishnas or Baha’is posting videos of themselves blowing up hotels or beheading “infidels”, you wouldn’t have a reason to start these threads in which you play up your victimhood.

Where’s your thread decrying the poor treatment of the Berbers, who were forcibly converted to Islam? Their primary religions prior to the coming of Islam were Christianity and Judaism. St. Augustine was a Berber, as was his mother, St. Monica. Queen Kahina (647-702), a Jewish Berber, is remembered among her people for her fight against the Muslim invasion of North Africa. You probably don’t talk about such things because it doesn’t make someone else’s religion look bad.

And I would start a “Christianity & Christians bashing” thread, but a) I realize how incredibly tacky that is, and b) that’s what nearly every thread in which Muslims are asked direct questions turns into anyway. So…why did you feel a need to add to it?

I’ll reiterate the point of my original post in this thread (lest you start wagging your finger at me, “You too! You added to it by posting that! GRRR! You hate Muslims SOOOO much!”), which is that individual Muslims are just as great or not great as individual Christians. False victimhood is a real turn-off, though. It’s almost as if you’re asking for people to not take you seriously. Why bother posting here at all if you’re so upset that not everyone in the world agrees with you? Welcome to life outside of the Allahosphere, where most of the time, people don’t care what you believe in one way or another. That’s not bashing…that’s equal-opportunity not caring, like I alluded to in the first paragraph of this post.

So what is it really about Christians here that makes you so upset? Is that we care enough about our own religion to try to correct your mistaken impressions of it that are given to you in your Qur’an and by your scholars, or is it that we don’t care enough about your religion to give you special privledges (i.e., never talking about it even in threads where it is the topic, never disagreeing with it even when our own religion demands that we do so, etc) because of your belief in it?

Either way: Grow up.
