It’s also unfortunate that many in the West can’t look at the history of Christianity inside of history. For example, is the current treatment of non-Muslims in Muslim nations worse than the Christian treatment of Muslims and pagans in the past?
Is the Church tolerant of pagans? Was it tolerant in the past? How did it treat them in the past? How tolerant is the Church when it has the upper hand?
These questions should be put to all religions, and Christianity should not be exempt.
