the Quran calls Jesus the Word and Spirit of God. Why is He the only one called as such and why was He born to no biological father? surely if your books wants to refute, the refutations must be clear and meaningfull.
inJesus, please understand that Jesus is not the only word (Kalimah) from God. There are many other innumerable words (Kalimat) of God. They are so numerous that if the all the trees of the world became pens and if all the waters of the ocean became ink and the words (Kalimaat) of Allah were to be written down then the ink will not suffice to write all teh words of Allah even if it was aided (supplimented) with waters of more oceans.

That is written in the Quran. Please find the subject in the Quran. Thanks. Jesus is just one word of Allah. he is not the only word of Allah. He was a word in the sense that it was a message to Mary, the mother of the birth of an illustrous son.

Please read other parts of the Quran too. The duties of the son (of Mary), as a prophet to the people of Israel, were also specified in that message. Read the whole thing in the Quran please.

what i know is that He is the only one known as the Word and Ruh of Allah. If you can show me someone else with the same title, go ahead.

the Quran calls Jesus the Word and Spirit of God. .
the same Quran says about Jesus (p) that :

Surah 3. The Family Of 'Imran, The House Of 'Imran

When Jesus found Unbelief on their part He said: “Who will be My helpers to (the work of) Allah.” Said the disciples: "We are Allah’s helpers: We believe in Allah, and do thou bear witness that we are Muslims. ( verse 52)

Then whoever disputes with you concerning him ( (Jesus) after (all this) knowledge that has come to you, (i.e. (Jesus)) being a slave of Allah, and having no share in Divinity) say: (O Muhammad SAW) “Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves - then we pray and invoke (sincerely) the Curse of Allah upon those who lie.” ( 3:61)

Both Saudi Arabia and al-Qaeda believe Islam should be returned to its “purest roots”. This is known as “desert Islam”, allegedly practiced in the time of Muhammad.

Before the 20th century this fundamentalist Salafi version of Islam wasn’t popular outside the Arabian Desert. But that has drastically changed. Salafi proselytizers, funded by petrodollars from SA, have had a huge impact on the way many mainstream Muslims interpert their faith and on how they view “less orthodox” muslims.

Oil funded Salafism is the ideological engine driving violent jihad, the goal of which is to restore the 17th century caliphate. It has infused life into the Taliban, al-Qaeda, Hamas and Sunni suicide bomb squads in Iraq, Palestine and Pakistan.

I believe that there can be no greater strategic imperative than pursuing an energy policy designed to end dependence on foriegn oil. We have to stop putting ourselves in a position where we are funding both sides on the war on terror and when we as a nation are afraid to speak out against religous oppression, oppression of women and a host of other human rights issues, simply because the perpetrators are holding the gas pump.

Wa alaikum salaam Muslimah,
pl. post the verse from Bible. Quran says the first sentence of Jesus (p) as infant was I am a servant of God.
The story of Jesus speaking out of the crib is a legendary tale contained in the Arabic Infancy gospel, dated to the 6th century. This narrative also contains the legend of Jesus turning clay birds into living ones. This narrative is a likely source for some of the ayat contained in the Qur’an.

As for the worship of Christ as an infant, it’s mentioned in the second chapter of Matthew’s gospel, if I’m not mistaken.
The real shirk is the claim that Jesus is God .
The reason why the Sanhedrin condemned Jesus to death is because He claimed to be God. The question, was Jesus innocent and therefore God, or was He in fact a liar? I answer with the former because He proved His innocence when He resurrected three days later. What’s your answer?

the same Quran says about Jesus (p) that :

yes, He is called The Word and Ruh of God, and at the same time He is called a prophet and a servant and we believe in both, that He is the Word and that He is a prophet and a rabbi and came to serve, not to be served. But in Christianity things have meaning.
Why is Jesus called a Word of God and not Adam if Adam was created by “be” as the Quran says? and why born to no biological father? the Quran doesn’t answer. The author took John’s words and the miraculous birth and Muslims interpret it as Word because Allah created Issa by saying “be”, though Adam is not called the word of Allah yet created by the word “be”, and they render the miraculous birth meaningless, as if Allah suddenly felt like doing it without any reason or maybe to display His power. Then the author attributes to Jesus the knowledge of the unseen, and being a judge at the day of judgment against those who do not believe in Him , and being a sign for the hour of judgment, and a second coming… so much for an “ordinary prophet” without explaining what Him being the Word of Allah born to no father means.

Ralph, You called for history. Here it is:
History
Prelude
After the conversion of Hamza, the companions of Muhammad began to offer prayers publicly. In turn, the Quraysh intensified their opposition by torturing the Muslims. Muhammad told his followers to leave for Ethiopia, where "a king rules without injustice, a land of truthfulness-until God leads us to a way out of our difficulty."

First migration

** In seventh Islamic month (Rajab) of 7 BH (614–615 CE) [1], eleven men and four women undertook the first migration [2].

They sneaked out of Mecca on a dark night and headed for the sea where two boats happened to be sailing for their destination, Ethiopia. News of their intended departure reached Quraish, so some men were despatched in their pursuit, but the Muslims had already left Shuaibah Port towards their secure haven where they were received warmly and accorded hospitality by Negus, King of Abyssinia, also called al-Najashi, (Arabic: النجاشي). Among these emigrants were Uthman and Ruquyyah. [3]**

Returning

**
Upon return, however, they found the persecution even stronger [2].

When the returning emigrants were only an hour’s travel from Meccan, they realized that the situation. Some of the Muslims returned back to Ethiopia while the rest continued to Mecca, some sneaked in secretly while others sought asylum (Arabic: Istijarah) [3].

When the Meccan polytheists came to know the good treatment they had received in Ethiopia they became indignant and started to mete out more severe maltreatment and torture on the Muslims, thus Muhammad announced a second migration to Ethiopia.[3].**
**There was NO persecution of mohammed when he was anywhere in fact, in islam’s own texts it proves that mohammed was the one who persecuted, defamed, ridiculed and berated others.

As usual planten just continues to write nonsense as if we cannot read islam’s own documents. While it is the muslims who are not reading anything - not even their own texts let alone ours. It has been a myth about mohammed being persecuted in Mecca. **

Ishaq:119 “'Abu Tabib, your nephew Muhammad has cursed our gods [at this point he had cursed all of them, including Allah], insulted our religion [more correctly, insulted them by trying to steal their religion], mocked our way of life and accused our forefathers of error. Either you stop him or let us get to him. For you, like us, are in opposition to him. He gave them a conciliatory reply. They returned a second time and said, ‘We have asked you to put a stop to your nephew’s activities but you have not done so. By Allah, we cannot endure having our fathers reviled and our customs mocked.’ Muhammad thought that his uncle had the idea of abandoning and betraying him, and that he was going to lose his support. The Apostle broke into tears.”

Tabari VI:93 “The Quraysh went to Abu Talib and said, ‘Your nephew [Muhammad] has reviled our gods, denounced our religion, derided our traditional values, and told us that our forefathers were misguided [and burning in hell]. Either curb his attacks on us or give us a free hand to deal with him, for you are as opposed to him as we are.’ They said, ‘We asked you to forbid your nephew from attacking us, but you did nothing. By Allah, we can no longer endure this vilification of our forefathers, this derision of our traditional values, and this abuse of our gods.’ This breach and enmity with his tribe weighed heavily on Talib. ‘Abu Talib, you are our elder and our chief, so give us justice against your nephew and order him to desist from reviling our gods, and we will leave him to his god.’”

Tabari VI:95 “Abu Talib sent for Muhammad. ‘Nephew, here are the shaykhs and nobles of your tribe. They have asked for justice against you. You should desist from reviling their gods and they will leave you to your god.’”

Tabari VI:96 “Abu Talib said to Muhammad, ‘Nephew, how is it that your tribe is complaining of you and claiming that you are reviling their gods and saying this, that, and the other?’ The Messenger said, 'I want them to utter one saying. If they say it, the Arabs will submit to them and the non-Arabs will pay the jizyah [submission tax] to them.”

Ishaq:121 “‘If we say contradictory things about Muhammad, we might lose our credibility [and thus the financial benefits of being heir to Qusayy’s religious scam]. Therefore, let us agree upon one criticism, which we can all claim without dispute. Some say that we should call Muhammad a deranged soothsayer. But is his the incoherent speech of a madman? [Yes] Some say he is possessed. But there is no choking, spasmodic movements, or whispering.’ [Actually, this is how Muhammad said that he endured revelations.] Others said, ‘Then let’s say he is a poet.’ ‘No, he is no poet. We know poetry in its forms.’ [They knew that the Hanif Zayd, among others, was a far better poet than Muhammad and his god.] Then they said: ‘He is a sorcerer.’ 'No, we have seen sorcerers and their sorcery. With him there is no spitting and no blowing. [There are dozens of Hadiths depicting Muhammad spitting and blowing to exorcize illness and evil spells.]”

Ishaq:130 “When the Quraysh became distressed by the trouble caused by the Apostle they called him a liar, insulted him, and accused him of being a poet, a sorcerer, a diviner [occult soothsayer], and of being possessed. However, the Apostle continued to proclaim what Allah had ordered him to proclaim. He excited their dislike by condemning their religion.”

yeah, I agree. but, I don’t know if it will happen anytime soon now. I know that I do my part - I drive about once a week now and instead bicycle and walk instead. I lost some weight and put more money in the savings!!

The thing with muslims is that they take words such as oppression and aggressor and innocent, etc and twist it so that only muslims are oppressed and innocent and only infidels are aggressors. No matter what they do. When they are not allowed to wage jihad, deceive, do what they want to infidels (kill 'em, steal from 'em, rape 'em, beat 'em, etc) then they are oppressed. And if they do those deeds and infidels get tired of it and fight back then they are the victims and we are the aggressors.

There are many more twists and the ironic thing of it is that so many leaders haven’t figured it out yet. We need at more Thomas Jeffersons who cracked open a koran and figured islam out (Barbary pirates were muslims on a jihad).

Our leaders haven’t even figured out that deception, da’wa, etc are also jihad tactics too with the same goal as outright terrorism (which usually comes as their numbers increase) which is death, conversion or subjugation. Their goal is to establish sharia law - to subjugate us. To be the dominate religion (which is really a political system).

The Third Jihad - 30 minute version

There are quite a number of books out there talking about the stealth jihad too.

‘A Never Ending War’,
‘Stealth Jihad: How Radical Islam is Subverting America without Guns or Bombs’ and
‘They Must Be Stopped: Why We Must Defeat Radical Islam and How We Can Do It’

And there is no secret to all of this. We got this from the mouths and documents of muslims. The muslim brotherhood has documents about it, including the doc called The Project.

The Project - a video- the muslim brotherhood’s stated goals using the MSA and other organizations in the West that were found in Europe.

the English version of ‘The Project’

They also found some muslim brotherhood documents in the USA, but it is in book format. A writeup about it is here:

The only difference between Islam and Catholicism is that Islam isn’t done with their conversion. If anybody can be a Catholic, what’s so special about it?

Catholicism was strength and now it’s dwindling into a multicultural wasteland, yet Fox News still assembles the troops against Muslims.

Look out, your liberal ignorance is showing.

“The only difference between Islam and Catholicism is that Islam isn’t done with their conversion.”

Do you really believe that? Or perhaps you would like to restate that.

There was no bloodthirsty, sexually depraved prophet called mohammed who inspires, to this day, his mo-bots to riot and kill for him in Catholicism. Also, the whole Jesus thing is a HUGE difference between not just Catholicism and Islam but Christianity and islam.

YOU are a by-product of the flawed multi-cultural, suicidal wasteland.
