A wonderful use of a fallacy. Well done. That is just common knowledge.
That doesn’t follow. Even Judas who knew Jesus, betrayed him.If the Protestant/Evangelicals believed that Orthodoxy is a genuine continuation of early Christianity, they wouldn’t be Protestants; they would be Orthodox.
Please cite statistics/proofs on degrees of influence? They greatly outnumber the Orthodox in the US for example, and they have a much greater influence in the religious, cultural, and political affairs of the country.
I am. All this posturing of yours and reeling back when challenged for proofs has simply convinced me of your argument!I dare say you are!
But you’re not; the early Christians didn’t believe they’d become godsI am quite happy to be closer to early Christianity and the Bible than either you, the Catholics, or the Protestants are.
So you say, but given your sense of Maths, and “Common” English you’d be bound to make such an illogical argument.[Reminder: You don’t know what you are talking about.

That is obviously the limit of your capabilities when it comes to conducting a rational debate. I call that brain dead.So you say, but given your sense of Maths, and “Common” English you’d be bound to make such an illogical argument.
Tell me again how your absolute rule prohibiting abortions has exceptions, but is still an absolute rule
Tell me how the quote from Genesis ‘in plain English’ has the phrase that isn’t there. I read it again, but couldn’t see it. Are you using Joe Smith’s Special Patented Secret Script Glasses again?
Are they like these…?
Yes. I have also heard of Pharasees refusing to accept the word of God. Whats your point?Have you heard of burying your head in the sand?

All you have to do is provide proofs when asked. It shouldn’t be too hard unless your arguments are just what they appear to be.That is obviously the limit of your capabilities when it comes to conducting a rational debate. I call that brain dead.

His reply has been that I can’t understand plain English, and more dodging of the issue… including a bit of abuse.Nay, that was the word of God:
Genesis 322 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever
I did, and what i wrote was my conclusion. I don’t understand how you can conclude that the Bible intended that every man would become God. That’s why I was lost. I think you read the bible based on writing per se basis, regardless whether it may be a parable, has an implied meaning, has a cultural/situational background, or just a poetic expressions.Did you read the blog posts? I doubt it, otherwise you wouldn’t talk like that.

My articles were lengthy, detailed, and analytical. Making a brief general assertion about them such as above does not give me a handle as to what you could not understand. I suggest you go and read them again, and pick up something specific that you did not understand or disagreed with, and bring it here and explain why, and we will talk about it. But as it is I have nothing to go by to either refute, or to agree with what you have said.I did, and what i wrote was my conclusion. 1821 We can therefore hope in the glory of heaven promised by God to those who love him and do his will. In every circumstance, each one of us should hope, with the grace of God, to persevere “to the end” and to obtain the joy of heaven, as God’s eternal reward for the good works accomplished with the grace of Christ. In hope, the Church prays for “all men to be saved.” She longs to be united with Christ, her Bridegroom, in the glory of heaven:
Hope, O my soul, hope. You know neither the day nor the hour. Watch carefully, for everything passes quickly, even though your impatience makes doubtful what is certain, and turns a very short time into a long one. Dream that the more you struggle, the more you prove the love that you bear your God, and the more you will rejoice one day with your Beloved, in a happiness and rapture that can never end.
2802 “Who art in heaven” does not refer to a place but to God’s majesty and his presence in the hearts of the just. Heaven, the Father’s house, is the true homeland toward which we are heading and to which, already, we belong.
One God whom we strive to be united with not to be equal with.1029 In the glory of heaven the blessed continue joyfully to fulfill God’s will in relation to other men and to all creation. Already they reign with Christ; with him “they shall reign for ever and ever.”
