Hi Guardian! 🙂

I don’t think that we will see the “Green flag of Allah” over the Vatican. Pope has invited imams to Rome to explain what he meant by his speech. He travels the way of PEACE. Intelligent Moslems of good will, will understand that. INTELLIGENT Moslems of evil will, will twist everything he says and teach less educated Moslems to think of the pope, the Catholic/Christian faith as something that has to be fought down.

Who would have thought that Haghia Sophia once the greatest church in Christendom would be converted into a mosque? I would not take this threat lightly.

Our moral crisis in the West has lead to the dominant religion in the west being relativism and agnosticism. Whether people would check that on a questionairre or not doesn’t matter, those are the cold hard facts. Europe is ripe for the pickings for Islam, and the US is following suit. Just think how many practicing Catholics have been lost from just 2 generations ago? Look at Mass attendance, abortion, birth control, etc… The West is in a war, not with Islam (Islam is just the alternative at this point), the West is at a war with itself, with relativism, with idolatry of money and posessions and sex and lust.

The rest of the article is just the ramblings of an ignoramous incapable of making a point without using third grade insults.

The bomb terrorists want us to be scared. That’s exactly what they want, with their violent protests. For the Islamic fundamentalists the Catholic Church is the only institution that stands in its way. Mary, Queen of Victory, pray for us!

Who would be willing to accept that cross? (martydom)

I would tend to agree with you. Unless cool heads prevail, there will be some kind of war between Islam and Christianity. There’s too much going on - with the cartoons and now this. But, in reality, this has been brewing for some time.

Hopefully, things will work out.

Remember, there were more martyrs in the 20th century thall all previous centuries combined.

Yes. I firmly believe that from this, we have many saints and doctors of the Church. God’s allowing this to happen, so he can bring good out of it. We will always have anti-christs and those who persecute the Church of God. Remember St. Paul blasphemed the Church before he became Christian. Let’s pray for our enemies.

If modern Americans and Europeans find it difficult to be good Christians wait until they try sharia! Islam may be picking up adherents but I submit these are not the cream of the crop but uneducated people living in chronic poverty, the low hanging fruit, so to speak. Radical Islam has within it the seeds of it’s own destruction. A majority may embrace incredibly stupid systems (think Soviet communism) but they cannot last, the human spirit won’t stand for it.

I think you guys are far too worried about a military conquest without realizing the Muslims have been 100 times more effective simply through immigration and flouting our free societies. Muslims don’t need a military conquest at all, in 100 years they’ll be the dominant religion in almost every Western European nation at this rate.

This is not going to be a military conquest, it will be right under our noses and subtle. Before we know it, Italy is an Islamic republic and the Vatican Papal State becomes required to raise the green flag of the Islamic Republic over the Vatican without firing a shot.
 
Why is it that whenever any Islamic person leading any group, no matter how small, makes any stupid statement it is treated as the feelings of the “Islamic World”?

I’d like to issue the following press release:
“John’s Popular Front for the Promotion of Catholic Truths” (membership 1) denounces the continuing affronts by the Islamic World against the One True Church. Should these affronts continue, John’s Popular Front for the Promotion of Catholic Truths shan’t be held responsible for it’s actions. The Islamic World has been warned."

I wonder if I’ll get the same press.
