Islamic hackers again fail to disrupt Vatican web site cwnews.com/images/optimized/rss_bug.gif Nov. 10 (CWNews.com) - For the second time in as many months, computer hackers affiliated with a radical Islamic group tried and failed to penetrate the Vatican web site, the Italian AGI news service reports.
Islamic militants who identified themselves as “leaders of the electronic jihad” announced on their own internet sites that they would launch a “large-scale battle” against the Vatican site this week, in response to what they saw as insults against Islam by Pope Benedict XVI (bio - news). The exact form of the attack was not explained.
According to the AGI news story, an attack was launched on November 9, but thwarted by security measures on the Vatican site. A similar effort to disrupt the Vatican internet site was made in October-- again without any significant effect. The Vatican web site– one of the busiest on the internet-- has tight security measures in place, informed sources say. Lepanto was a very important victory for Christian Europe, and in response to the very clear military danger of the Ottoman Empire.

But come on now… the attacks on the Vatican’s website are cyber-vandalism, not military aggression. No nation has declared war on the Vatican.
 
Oh but they have. Since the Pope reflected on the quote in regards to Islam made by the 14th century person(can’t remember who he was) They have called for all out attacks on the Vatican.

Yes, some individuals have called for attacks. But no nation has done this.

Does it matter? There are more than a few individuals calling for jihad. They are well financed and find states more than willing to harbor them.

I am not advocating a Western declaration of war or state of war. I am advocating something else that to me seems even more important. I am urging people to realize that a war has indeed been declared on the West…

No it is not Lepanto. Rome won’t fall this year or next. But Pera and then Cardinal Ratzinger made important points. It is the inability of the West to make value judgements, to escape from a suffocating multicultural politically correct mindset, to escape from relativism, to state plainly facts as they are that is putting the West in great peril.

It is about Europe committing demographic suicide and how even though there are moderate muslims, they have no formal authority to declare that there is such thing as a moderate Islam. And the way Europe and others cow-tow to them, there really isn’t any need to push a moderate Islam.

Yes, it does matter. An individual or individuals are just that. They are not nations, they cannot carry out diplomacy nor conduct wars, they can only commit criminal acts.

Sure, read it, but keep in mind that Mr. Steyn’s is only one of a long list of titles from ultra right-wing Henny Pennies whose stock in trade is confirming to the “faithful” that the sky is falling.
 
Even if they penetrated the site all would be ok because Jesus “Saves”. (Ouch!..bad joke).
