I don’t see the logic in your statements.
You say that you are fine with God wishing the evil to go to hell, but my similar wish of the evil to go to hell is revolting.
Let’s rephrase this…Suppose you admire a man so much that whatever he holds in his hands you feel is clean, even if it is possibly not. But when I hold it in MY hand, it becomes faecal matter to you.
What this basically shows is this…that your basis of right or wrong is not based on the subject but on your preferences. Now, does that stem from a sense of righteousness? Obviously not.
Now, without righteousness, how do you proceed to bestow your ‘charities’ onto those whom you are not effectively able to identify as evil or good?
I say this not to defend myself, but to lead you to understand yourself better.
PS. I am not from any church you see on earth.
my logic makes no sense to you, because you do not understand. this has nothing to do with “God sending the evil”… i do hope God sends the evil to hell (and he has and continues to do so when he hurls the demons down there), but that is VERY different from sending people.
here is what you said:
And if there is anyone out there who still wants to say Islam Is Peaceful, let he/she go burn in hell.
you realize how close you sound to the painfully stupid muslims that yell, death to the non-believer all in the name of God… (
disclaimer i am not saying
only in the islamic religion can you find the painfully stupid. anytime a Christian kills an abortion doctor, or a buddhist monk who knows he has hiv and goes out and infects many of his followers… well they fall under that category too)
you and i are not perfect. and i am sure there is some information i hold in my head that is incorrect and some that you hold that also is incorrect which would make us both ignorant in those particular subjects. what kind of God would send us to hell for being ignorant? do a you tube search on garbage like “jew eating bunny” and you will see the filth that is being put into some muslim children’s minds at such an early age. the message is evil, not the muslims. count your blessings you were not born into that life. pray they overcome the hatred they were taught.
and again God does not send anyone to hell, rather there are some people that
choose to defy his teachings and they condemn themselves. and as another poster pointed out, you have to see the difference between being ignorant and choosing evil.
as to the human being that deliberately chooses evil, God wants us to pray for them so they can see the error of their ways, repent and choose God. God wills that ALL be saved. His mercy is infinite. if God wills that all men be saved, then where do you get off hoping they won’t be? the bottom line is no human can say if another person is going to hell and we certainly shouldn’t be condemning anyone to hell ourselves.
how you came to the conclusion that God feels the same way as you do is beyond me. no wait, actually it’s not beyond me. you are a perfect example of how sublime theology can go bad when one individual reads Holy Scripture and decides what it all means for themselves. Scripture is NOT to be separated from the Holy Church that gave it to you. misunderstanding can lead to evil and we see it all the time in the news when some wack-a-doo thinks God wants him to be an executioner.
i think you mean well and hopefully just oversimplified evil getting out of our lives. i think we all struggle sometimes with hating the sin, but loving the sinner. you can hate islam, but you can’t hate muslims. we are all God’s children.
i hope you read through some of the sola scriptura threads, because your church from
on yonder has really poor instructors.
peace.
