I am a humane and decent man. As I don’t believe in persecuting nor killing anyone. Live and let live, is my motto however cliched it may be.I would expect you to have the humanity and decency to realize that just as you and the Jews no longer follow the laws about stoning people, most Muslims do not follow the laws that say similar things.
I do know that most Muslims do not follow the commandments to hate, kill and oppress disbelievers. I do know that. But that is not a free pass for the religion that teaches it though.
Next thing you’ll give a free pass to Nazism because not every Nazi killed people. Only the stormtroopers did.
Like I said - they have some semblence of humanity left in them. If you talk to those Muslims you will find they can never repudiate those verses. They just ‘turn a blind eye’ to them. But they still believe those verses are valid today. Just that it is better that some other Muslims do it.Then again I ask, what of the Jews? And how do you explain most Muslims considering those parts of the Quran not worth following?
Some might claim, without theological justification, that those hateful verses are only applicable in the time of the Caliphs. But that is clearly without theological justification. They have merely chosen to disobey their god. Which, again, does not give the religion a get out of jail card because another Muslim might read the same verse, hear the same sermon, and decide to become a jihadist.
Sure by silently condoning such behavior everytime they go on the haj.Plenty of them do have problems with that.
Umm… didn’t know Jesus told Christians to kill. But you know better. Aren’t those abortion clinic killers disobeying their God?Let’s play Madlibs. A ‘moderate’ Christian can turn into an ‘abortion clinic bomber’ at the drop of a hat. Nope, sorry, failed.
Why are you equating this disobedience to the Christian god with a Muslim obeying allah’s command to hate and kill disbelievers?
Oh… I get it… a Christian who commits a crime in violation of Christian principles automatically condemns Christianity. Right?
Against or because of the teachings of Jesus Christ may I ask?How do you feel about what Christians did about that back then?
The so-called fundamentalists are merely the stormtroopers. You can’t tell the difference between them and the ‘moderates’. They read the same Quran. They go to the same mosques. They come from the same families. They have the same parents and upbringing. Most Muslims are not doing these things. Attack fundamentalism, not the faith itself.
It’s just that the ‘fundamentalists’ act on their conviction while the ‘moderates’ have some semblence of innate morality to stop them from carrying out their orders from Allah.
If both groups follow the exact same teaching what can you say? How do you sort the wheat from the chaff?Because unlike some people here, I can recognize the difference between followers and fanatics?
You are making a distinction that does not exist. Every true Muslim is a fundamentalist. Only those fundamentalists that have lost all humanity become jihadists. Those that do not kill still have some innate humanity left.
Sorry the truth hurts - but I’m only the MESSENGER.
