Ok, think about it this way, if you want to visit any country you need a visa. To get the visa you’ll have to meet some requirements. Same thing for Mecca. Wana go there you’ll have to meet requirements. The only requirement is that you have to say “I testify that there is no God but Allah, and that Muhammad is his servant and messenger”.

And please don’t venture near the “human rights” territory. Catholics made it clear to us on previous discussions that they don’t believe in human rights. Once we start talking about “human rights” you’ll give me a statement like your catholic brother Hospitaller when he answered Jcaz’s comment:

My Brother, the Jews and the Muslims are in Jerusalem whether you like or not, you have no authority there to allow or prevent people from other religions to enter Jerusalem. And everyone knows what the crusaders did when they took hold of the city. They committed massacres on every other religion Jews, Muslims even christians (non-catholics) were not spared.

Actually, not many people really know what happened during the Crusades or why (especially if they went to a public school like me). Read this article for a start 👍 :

Another thing is that freedom of speech is an American ideal that has been programmed into us as if it were some sort of universal truth. I’m not saying that I’m against it, I’m just making a point.

From what I have seen on these forums I find it hard to believe that is the reason Catholics would want to go there…but perhaps you are right this could be one reason.

I’ve been to the wailing wall and seen the dome of the rock (outside only) and found both to be quite impressive, even though I disagree with both groups. The food in Israel was unlike anything I’ve had before. There was more culture shock traveling to Israel than other European countries, mostly because the language is not latin based, leading to some difficultiesin communication unless the person there knew bits of english, french, or spanish.

Yes, when I was in Europe I also visited Christian churches and when in Asia and the Middle East I have also visited Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist Holy sites…but I do not plan my trips around other faiths religious sites and if I can see them.

The biggest “lie” in your life could be your biggest help in the after life ,those are the key words for paradise…if ``you dont want it then i’ll will pray God for all of u to give you a right guidance.

I can not see going to study anything if the requirement for admission is that I lie about God and say that a man that misled millions was His prophet. One of the prime tenets of Islam requires one to deny the Trinity in so many words. This Allah has no son & to get into Mecca one must put the teachings of a false prophet above the true God.
 
Allah in Arabic and Aramaic means “The Supreme GOD”. Yahweh or Jehovah in Hebrew mean “The Eternal”. GOD Almighty’s Names are Attributes of Him. They’re all the same. They’re not just names like “Osama” or “Todd”. Jesus by the way used “Allah” when he preached in Aramaic. See the proofs.

Timur I do not need your gods afterlife. Jesus Christ is True God. A faiths holy book says a lot about its god. I have read the Koran many times over the last 25 years. I have also read the Bible. The 2 deities displayed are in noway the same. I’ll stay with Christ & gladly forsake Allah & Mohammad.

The twin language of arameic is arabic,so the original bible language was written on arameic ,and the original Quran languge as u can see is Arabic.So i wanted to tell you that the real name of God is Allah and cristians should call Him the same ,and not to attack everithing which come s from muslims.The word muslim means -people which are devoted to God and the place which you speak about this forum (mesjidul Haram-kaba)is the God choosen place for people who adore God Almighty.Our prophet Abraham started to build the HOUSE OF God and our beloved prophet finished it.Jesus too said that Jeruzalem wont be a place which the real followers of God will visit soon.That was truth becose for 600 years all the real cristians which were beliving in One God vanished from earth becose of prosecution and torture and after the nikeian council u accepted trinity as a doctrin thats why God sent Muhammed-here are other words meaning on arameic:

It is the politicay correct thing to only say nice things about Islam. Doesn’t matter if your the Pope or President Bush. The problem is,reality. No christian country persecutes or misstreats muslims. Its hard to find an Islamic country that doesn’t misstreat christians. Its that regretable and simple.
