They don’t have any in Nigeria, or if they do, they are a minority among a minority, and don’t dare pipe up.Incidentally WHERE are those liberal/leftists so quick to decry even the most inconsequential incidence of “Islamophobia”( “The Innocence Of Muslims”)???
Terrible. Well they’re with God now. They don’t have any in Nigeria, or if they do, they are a minority among a minority, and don’t dare pipe up.![]()

The Boko Haram doesn’t represent all Muslims, any more than the Mafia represents all Catholic Sicilians.we had a Nigerian priest at our parish who tried to warn of the atrocities happening in his native country and many of the Catholics complained that he was speaking badly of Muslims. i was shocked. i can only think that these Catholics don’t read the newspapers to be aware of the number of Christians that have been killed in Nigeria by members of Boko Haram.
Probably not, but if none of those killed were Americans, I don’t expect that our government would. I don’t expect the governments of the countries of Europe to do so either, unless one of their citizens was a victim.has our government shown any “outrage” over the killing of Christians in Nigeria or over this massacre?
i didn’t say that Boko Haram represents all Muslims. al qaeda does not represent all Muslims either. The Boko Haram doesn’t represent all Muslims, any more than the Mafia represents all Catholic Sicilians.

True, although a major difference is that the Mafia is not inspired by Catholicism the way Boko Haram is inspired by Islam. Fortunately it is difficult to find a close analogy in Catholicism. The “crusades” against Jews in the Middle Ages and witchunts generally a bit later in history are two possible historical examples of something similar. Perhaps still closer would be the relationship between the KKK of the mid-twentiety century and Southern Protestant Christianity. Ultimately of course any comparison between different movements in very different cultures will break down. The Boko Haram doesn’t represent all Muslims, any more than the Mafia represents all Catholic Sicilians.
No one ever claimed the Boko Haram represents all Muslims, but they certainly represent the mind set of waaaaaaay to many Muslims. I imagine there were many, many whistling Muslim women in crowds throughout the Middle East celebrating the news along with jubilant Muslim men. We have all seen it before on the evening news. The Boko Haram doesn’t represent all Muslims, any more than the Mafia represents all Catholic Sicilians.

at least in Nigeria. we don’t see much coverage of these attacks on tv - mostly in print. No one ever claimed the Boko Haram represents all Muslims, but they certainly represent the mind set of waaaaaaay to many Muslims.
