I am genuinely reluctant to say that is what Israeli policy is, but it sure looks that way when you bomb the only half-functioning electricity plant. This is intended to punish the civilian population.

What do you think Israel should do with the Palestinians?

Israel is investigating. Rather odd how Hamas is the first to show up at any sight and report. I think Hamas own rockets is doing a great deal of this damage.
 
Israel’s response to Hamas’ rocket attacks, which have been responsible for 3 civilian deaths in Israel, have been disproportionate to say the least. Even if we accept the claims of the IDF that they’ve killed 335 terrorists in Gaza, that still put’s civilian deaths at around 75 pct of the total. I think the world (including a few American Jews I’ve seen interviewed) are getting a little tired of hearing the same old excuses from Israel, i,e “We had no choice but to blow those school kids to smithereens because Hamas fired a rocket from there classroom”.

I don’t know, the F-16s and Apache helicopters are pretty accurate. The Hamas rockets, not accurate at all. And lets face it, by their own statements linked they sacrifice their own and consider this blood offering martydom.

So why we would be surprised they are sacrificing their own, or suggest they wouldn’t? These conflicts with the radicals, they are never about right or wrong, they are about who has the final say. Frankly I don’t see that happening in this conflict, Israel isn’t going home to America, they are home. And a five mile strip doesn’t seem impossible to control to me.

Many have told any journalists who will listen that they no longer have any hope for a better future; that they have nothing really to live for and that if they are going to die anyway, better to die fighting. It will do them no good because new tunnels will be built an another Hamas-like organization will arise in its place. I presume you meant to state "thanks to the cruel and crippling Israeli and Egyptian blockade? Is there any reason that you are excluding the Egyptian’s on this point? It’s kind of rare that Egypt and Israeli actually agree on something without question.

Simple: Reoccupy the territory and strip it of weapons. After that occurs, reopen the borders with heavy security so as to not allow weapons in. And to be fair to the Muslims, the punishment for crimes should be the same as under Sharia.

Or the other solution is for Israel to simply allow Hamas to continue to lobbing rockets indiscriminately against civilians, which is exactly the result of the suggestions that people are putting forth here.

Many people in the world simply live in a bubble, and speak in platitudes of such issues. If someone was hellbent on exterminating your race and taking action to do so, killing your family and kids, I seriously doubt you’d just sit back and let them do it. But if it’s not in your backyard, it’s okay.

So are you arguing that more Israelis need to be killed off, or just disappointed?
 
I’m implying that Israel’s missile shield is protecting them pretty well and that it is not necessary to kill so many civilians.

I call you out as a hypocrite given your pretence of caring for unborn children and your support for these satanic attacks.

They didn’t destroy the power plant, I don’t believe. What I heard was one of the fuel holding tanks was on fire.

The bulk of posters on here have wilfully justified and even joked about what is an ongoing genocide, perpetually and as the death toll rises by thousands.

I have been left shocked and startled by the lack of compassion and unchristian sentiment which i have seen on this thread, i came here looking for spiritual learning & likewise minds, but due to what i have seen on here, i have been left with many, many doubts about the power of faith.

I will leave this forum on this note.

Hamas shot some 20 Palestinians on Monday night for protesting against Hamas for the massive destruction inflicted on their neighborhood in Shejaia by the IDF in the past weeks, Channel 10 reported on Tuesday.

Over the past few days, Hamas has executed more than 30 civilians from various parts of the Gaza Strip which it suspected of collaborating with Israel, unidentified Palestinian security sources told the Palestine Press News Agency.

Hamas claimed it had detected alleged “spies” in the area of Shejaia and said that they were executed after an investigation into some of them. Such investigations reportedly revealed weapons and communication devices in the possession of the “spies.”
