Well then, kill the people leading Hamas.
Documented, they use human shields, complicates this issue.
But don’t kill children sleeping in UN safety facilities and don’t kill children in schools, and don’t kill children in hospitals, and don’t kill children playing on the beach!
I know Hamas needs to be stopped. There’s no facts on who did it, only condemnation of the acts. But as we see Hamas is known for exactly this type of incident and warfare tactics. There is no ignoring this.

Well then, kill the people leading Hamas.
The Islamic Jihad group — a close ally of Gaza’s militant Palestinian Hamas rulers — said its commander in the northern part of the strip, Daniel Mansour, died when an Israeli strike hit his home just before dawn. Daniel Mansour, the commander of the Islamic Jihad group – a close ally of Hamas

Its happening, not as easy as most would like to think with tunnel attacks in urban areas. But westerners who don’t live on top of tunnels used for attacks really have a disconnected idea of this type of conflict and lean on humanitarian media reports who condemn the violence but do not know who in fact caused it incident by incident.

Hamas does not use human shields:
All the civilians in the area are protection for a terrorist agenda launching attacks from among them. And their agenda is clear from their own doctrine. And they are deemed a “terrorist” group because of their despicable agenda. 😉

So, even with crystal clear photographic evidence from multiple international media outlets, you’re denying that Israel uses Palestinian children as human shields? And even though multiple international media outlets, including the United Nations, say there is absolutely no evidence for it, you believe that Hamas uses Palestinians as human shields? I suppose it couldn’t possibly make even the smallest difference to your beliefs on the matter, seeing as how you’re impervious to well-documented factual evidence, both photographic and otherwise, but I may as well post this link, too:

electronicintifada.net/blogs/ali-abunimah/isolated-weapons-find-vacant-unrwa-school-cannot-justify-israels-gaza-slaughter

It’s an article detailing how the United Nations has thus far found evidence of Hamas stashing weapons at one school only, and that school was abandoned, a fact known to one and all, Israeli and Palestinian alike.

I am unfortunately incapable of making the blind see.
I can only hope Christ Himself has better luck curing your willful blindness.:gopray2:

I can’t either unfortunately, and I hope Christ cures your blindness also. There’s nothing you can possibly tell me about tunnel attacks. I lived right on top of them. Hamas is a despicable terrorist group condemned by the country you live in. Their doctrine is despicable, racist and insulting and about as un American and Christian as you can get.

Seeing as how you’re impervious to this well-documented factual evidence, I don’t see much sense in the circular conversation with radical terrorist sympathizers.

Well, actually, if I was rude I do apologize. But just because someone points out Israel’s glaring wrong doings it doesn’t mean that they’re supporting Hamas. We’re dealing with “two despicable terrorist groups” here, not one.

Israel is not a terrorist group in your country. Thats your “opinion” with blog and terrorist support sights to validate it. Its a fact in the USA Hamas-terrorist group. Israel-friend.

Israel doesn’t have a terrorist doctrine as Hamas. I guess you disagree with America and its all a conspiracy theory. 🤷

Terrorist attack on civilians in Jerusalem as we speak. School bus targeted.

The Hamas narrative is “terrorism” radical Islam is “THE PROBLEM”

The terrorist kind that straps explosives on them and sends them into civilian areas. The kind who are banned and labeled in several countries like Hamas is as a terrorist group. The kind who detonate themselves up at public events like the Boston Marathon.

Documented terrorists.

Hamas is designated a terrorist organisation by Israel, the US, EU, Canada and Japan due to its long record of attacks and disregard for civilians.
Those who have not designated Hamas a terrorist organization are Russia, Iran, China, Turkey, and most of the Middle East.

BBC updated report and photos, video coverage concerning post ceasefire explosion : Title, excerpt and link to coverage provided below

“Gaza conflict: Israeli partial ceasefire under way” (Title of Article)
Excerpt:

"Martin Patience, BBC News, Gaza

Previous ceasefires and truces have all come and gone in Gaza. Most have crumbled within a matter of hours. And while Israel has announced a “humanitarian window”, nobody here has any faith in it.

Israel says that it will continue its military operations close to the southern town of Rafah. Just minutes after the ceasefire got under way, Palestinians say Israel carried out in airstrike inside Gaza city - an area that was supposed to be covered by the truce.

We heard the explosion at our Gaza bureau. A BBC team saw a house that had been destroyed - locals say that at least one person died and others were injured in the attack. There’s yet to be any word from the Israeli military. But it’s for this reason that Palestinians say that no place in Gaza is safe - ceasefire or not. "

From the article you cited in the Guardian:
In the first days of the conflict, the Hamas-run ministry of interior issued a statement urging people near the border – who had been told in Israeli leaflet-drops, text messages and phone calls to evacuate – that they should remain in their homes, dismissing the messages as “psychological warfare”.
If Israel was so keen on using civilians as shields why would it notify the Palestinians to evacuate their homes? And why would Hamas dismiss it?

Here’s a bit more of the material from the Guardian link provided by Exiled Child which discusses the challenge of determining whether it might be safer to remain in place in Gaza or to evacuate to a shelter or different home/neighborhood. For descriptions (including refugee situation at Greek Orthodox Church and personal narratives please use ink at bottom-Please note this coverage is from July 22)

"Israel – including its Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu – has blamed Hamas for the high rate of civilian deaths, insisting Hamas has turned Gazans into “human shields” or suggesting that Palestinians themselves are somehow responsible for not fleeing when the Israeli army has ordered them to. Gaza’s residents have a different explanation for why they have fled – and why they haven’t.

The Gaza Strip is a densely populated enclave – around 1.6 million people in 146 square miles, sealed by both an Egyptian and Israeli blockade. Israel has now ordered some 43% of the territory to be evacuated. The schools that have opened to receive those fleeing are already overcrowded – and many Palestinians in Gaza can recall how in the 2008-09 conflict, even those schools could not guarantee safety."

In the first days of the conflict, the Hamas-run ministry of interior issued a statement urging people near the border – who had been told in Israeli leaflet-drops, text messages and phone calls to evacuate – that they should remain in their homes, dismissing the messages as “psychological warfare”.

In the past week, the Guardian has seen large numbers of people fleeing different neighbourhoods – including Beit Lahia, Beit Hanoun, Shujai’iya, Zeitoun and Maghazy – and no evidence that Hamas had compelled them to stay…

These crowds have joined the ranks of some 102,000 displaced who, according to the UN’s figures, have swollen by some 500% in the last five days.

The decision whether or not to flee is, in reality, a very difficult and complex process of weighing up often competing safety considerations.

“Where you live, you know who your neighbours are and they know you,” said one middle class Gaza resident who recently evacuated and asked not to be named.

“You know if someone is Hamas or Islamic jihad, if your building might be a target or if there is someone you suspect is an Israeli collaborator in the building, which might make it safer during an Israeli attack. I’m staying with relatives. The first thing I asked before I moved my family is who the neighbours are.”

Others explained their reluctance to flee their homes with their conviction that nowhere in Gaza is currently safe."

You are the first one to bring up this important point on the purported use of human shields!

The IDF routinely uses Palestinian children as human shields when it goes on raids in the West Bank. Why? It makes the people LESS likely to offer armed resistance. You’ve got to hand it to the IDF when it comes to disseminating war propaganda. Apparently, the Palestinians are so irrational, that when the IDF uses human shields, they will tamp down the armed resistance. When Hamas is alleged to use human shields, it’s because, in that trite, cruel, self-serving phrase used by Golda Meir, “the Palestinians hate Israel more than they love their own children”.

Civilian occupied spaces? Gaza is one of the most densely packed places on Earth! All of Gaza is civilian occupied!
You have a misunderstanding of both the population and the geography. There are many areas of Gaza which are agricultural, about 1/3 is under irrigation so there is at least that much land from which Hamas can fire rockets. Here is a link to a page with a population density map of Gaza. You can see that the population is not all over Gaza but concentrated into towns and cities.
Perhaps there would be more space there if Israel removed their illegal settlements from the West Bank.
Here is a map of Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank. You can see Gaza in the southwest corner of Israel (lower left-hand corner along the coast). Over to the right, or east, on the map, you will see a large dark area which is the West Bank (it is the west bank of the Jordan River.). Since the West Bank is so far and separate from Gaza, removing Jewsih settlers from there would not help Hamas find less-dangerous places from which to launch, not that they need help with this since they have a lot of unpopulated fields from which to launch.
By the way, settling your own people in a territory you’ve occupied is also against international law.
Under international law, defending victors are allowed to keep the land acquired, but Israel has been continually asked to give the land back.
Both sides are extremist, both sides are part of the problem, not only the radicalized Palestinians (aka Hamas).
If Israel laid down her arms, it would be overrun and the Jews killed. If the Palestinians laid down their arms, their situation would improve, as shown by the fact that Palestinians in Israel have full citizenship rights.

I have never heard this before. Exiled Child (?) posted a couple of pictures, which could be interpreted as the IDF using human shields, but for which there could easily be another explanation. Other than that, I see no evidence nor even previous rumors or allegations of this behavior on the part of the Israelis.

Several hours after a man driving a digger used his vehicle to flip over a bus, killing one, a gunman on a motorcycle opened fire Monday on a hitchhiking station near Jerusalem’s Hebrew University on Mt. Scopus. Several people were wounded in both attacks.

A Letter written by Jon Voigt in response to Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem’s letter regarding the Israeli/Gaza conflict, which was very anti-Israel:
My name is Jon Voight and I am more than angry, I am heartsick that people like Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem could incite anti-Semitism all over the world and are oblivious to the damage they have caused.
They are obviously ignorant of the whole story of Israel’s birth, when in 1948 the Jewish people were offered by the UN a portion of the land originally set aside for them in 1921, and the Arab Palestinians were offered the other half. The Arabs rejected the offer, and the Jews accepted, only to be attacked by five surrounding Arab countries committed to driving them into the sea. But the Israelis won. The Arabs tried it again in 1967, and again in 1973, launching a sneak attack on the holiest Jewish holiday. Each time the Jews prevailed but not without great loss of life. And when Israel was not fighting a major war, it was defending itself against terrorist campaigns.

And yet Israel has always labored for a peaceful relation with its Arab neighbors.** It voluntarily returned the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt in return for peace, and gave the Palestinians all of Gaza as a peace gesture. What was the response? The Palestinians elected Hamas, a terrorist organization, and they immediately began firing thousands of rockets into Israel.**
After years of trying to make peace, the wars they had to fight, being attacked by their enemies, and still being attacked, and finally after years of running into bomb shelters and having hundreds of civilians killed by suicide bombers, civilians being killed in their sleep, stabbed to pieces, finding enough is enough and finally retaliating, instead of my peers sticking up for the only democratic country in that region, they go and take out poison letters against them.
You have forgotten how this war started. Did Hamas not kidnap and kill three young teenagers for the sake of killing, and celebrated after the killing? What a travesty of justice.
I am asking all my peers who signed that poison letter against Israel to examine their motives. Can you take back the fire of anti-Semitism that is raging all over the world now?
You have been able to become famous and have all your monetary gains because you are in a democratic country: America. Do you think you would have been able to accomplish this in Iran, Syria, Lebanon, et cetera? You had a great responsibility to use your celebrity for good. Instead, you have defamed the only democratic country of goodwill in the Middle East: Israel.
You should hang your heads in shame. You should all come forth with deep regrets for what you did, and ask forgiveness from the suffering people in Israel.
