From Gallup

the bodily damage and awesome financial pressure that it is sure to bring.
This is an hypothetical and you know it…
There is family planning …
And do not freak people out please with the bodily damage… there is the doctor to guide us not to exceed weight or stay healthy. Wish I could send a photo of my friends with 4, 5, 7 children today… In shape and doing sports regularly and as fit as a fiddle eating healthy food.
Motherhood is not only not the end of the world but a gift!
Financial difficulties of course we understand , but hey! it is surmountable , a lot of people may help out as so as how to tackle with little and big stuff to make it through.
Nothing really justifies doing away with a life.
And also there are so many families ready to adopt in the worst of cases …
Sincerely, if as moms and dads we could talk about how we made it through and what a blessing children are… all this darkness would gradually be dispelled.
And from the bottom of my heart, this discussion about when a “ person becomes a person” is … theoretical. What one will irrevocably give birth to is :a child.
And what is worse, those who argue against it know it perfectly well. It won t be other than a member of the human race…

Sure. We reserve the right to smoke and die for one’s country to those humans that are 18 years of age or older. Younger persons are barred from this.

Sure. Like when we limit the privilege of driving to those persons 16 and older. This is done, presumably, for public safety. We have rights that those persons younger than 16 do not.

Nothing new here.
What you are talking about are privileges. What is actually involved here is the most basic human right of all. Those things are not actually comparable. I think most people recognize the disconnect at presenting the right to live as no more significant than the right to drive. I do think, however, that people had better get used to the idea, because this won’t be the only issue where one’s right to live will be subordinated to someone else’s idea of the common good.
Sure. But the main question is, again, is the fetus’ right to live greater than a mothers presumed right to not want a baby?

If we have any answer other than a demonstrable yes (which is the perpetual situation), then we must let the woman have her choice.

Graph does not show that most pro-lifers are men. It shows at most that men are slightly more likely to favor at least some restrictions. Unless we define “pro-choice” as meaning “pro-abortion in all circumstances” and “pro-life” as “supports literally any restrictions whatsoever.”

Not at all. Last time I looked at the Pew data, most abortions were being done by women in their 30s with other children who felt they could not bear the strain of another mouth to feed.

For smaller portion who have them done when young and single, it’s to avoid the social stigma and physical damage that often accompanies children in their situation.

So a three percentage point difference is enough to discredit a movement based on its gender composition?

That’s pretty dang close to equal representation.

Of course, the appeal to gender demographics is just a way to avoid having to discuss the actual issue at hand, which is the mass dismemberment of living babies. I have to imagine it’s hard for pro-abortion folks to deal with the shame of arguing the position on the merits, so I guess I understand attacking the opposing position on trivial grounds instead of on the merits.

No. The real issue is whether a woman should be forced to have a child against her will.

The real issue is whether it is okay to murder a baby. Only in a very few cases is it against the woman’s will, since she chose to engage in sex, which has historically been known to result in babies.

If a mother doesn’t want to have a child, she shouldn’t be made to have a child. 🤷‍♂️

She’s not being made to. She chose to get pregnant. She chose to have a child. It’s just legal right now for her to murder her child.

Which causes…

It’s not my fault I got cancer! Sure, I chose to smoke, but I didn’t choose to get cancer!

It’s not my fault I wrecked my car! Sure, I drove drunk, but I didn’t choose to get in a wreck!

Not that a baby is a negative thing like cancer or wrecks. But it’s not exactly a secret what the most common result of sex is.

Well, nobody says it is easy when there are complex situations but women are not alone. We are not alone… there is a whole lot of persons ready, available and very willing to help out…
This is crucial that women in difficult situations know: you are not alone. There are ways out very different from doing away with the child.
Hope and strength…
And also family planning to responsible parenthood…
That is the message we need to make contagious: you are not alone. We, women and men from all over have gone through all sorts of difficulties and the sun has come out …

Wait, are you actually suggesting that sex does not cause pregnancy?

It does indeed. About 20% of the time if no precaution is taken (I can cite if you need).

But the other thing is a 100% probability if everyone plays fair.
